Hello friends, new and familiar! My name is Courtney and I’m the founder of Aperitivo Hour, where effortless meets unforgettable.

Inspired by the Italian pre-dinner tradition, this space is driven by the intention of spending quality time spent with good company. Whether you’re a seasoned host in need of fresh inspiration or someone who could use a little extra support, I’m here to assist, and hopefully inspire ✨

A few tidbits about me:
🫒I was born and raised in San Diego, and reside in Orange County

🫒I currently work in marketing, but studied hospitality in college and worked in events in the early part of my career

Hosting Hack: always have a few easy apps on deck while you finish prepping dinner. These are my Trader Joe’s go-tos that never miss, plus the garnishes that make them feel elevated with minimal effort.

Cranberry Cider Punch | Batch Cocktail Recipe

Ingredients:
• 3 cups whiskey (I used Hibiki)
• 4 cups Trader Joe’s Spiced Cider
• ½ cup fresh lemon juice
• 3 cups Poppi Cranberry Fizz (add right before serving)

Garnish Suggestions:
• Fresh cranberries
• Rosemary sprigs
• Dehydrated citrus
• Apple slices
• Cinnamon Sticks

I know, I knooooow. Fall is here and tomato girl summer is technically over. BUT the heirloom tomatoes at the farmers market were too good to pass up.

The base:
•1 heirloom tomato
•1 tbsp olive oil
•Pinch of flaky salt

The vinaigrette:
•2 tbsp olive oil
•1 tsp Dijon mustard
•Juice of ½ lemon
•¼ tsp dried basil
•Salt + pepper to taste

The garnish:
•Red onion
•Capers
•Chives
•Crushed pepitas
•Lemon slices
