This trip has been a whirlwind. When I asked my bosses for the opportunity to work remotely while traveling, I had this mindset that it would be so effortless. See shit during the day, work at night. Easy peasy, right? lol, nah. Traveling like this isn’t for the faint of heart. Yeah, we post the highlight reals but no one sees the short fuses and attitude, meltdowns and the moments you want to throw your laptop out a window. No one sees the stomach issues and the way you’re living off of bread and mint tea for days because you’re terrified to eat anything else. No one sees the 13 hour van rides and beyond swollen ankles. But days like this- they’re golden. They’re more than well deserved. And not ever taken for granted. This ride was much needed and the perfect way to forget about the bs for a few hours. And. A little shoutout to my blessing of a bestie @kellystraka who is always down for the ride. I’d be lost without this chick. taken in Marrakech by @apesrenee
