On February 10 of 2025 we started this.

What began as a DM checking in on my friend who was obviously distraught, quickly turned into the beginning of a love and life that we both had always been searching for. The love we share transcends everything either of us had known in the past. It’s a love that neither of us have ever felt, and a love that nobody can ever take from us. It’s pure. It’s reciprocal. It’s true. Loving April is the easiest thing I’ve ever done. I know, without a doubt in my mind, that she is the one.

On February 10 of 2026 I asked her to spend the rest of her life with me, as my wife.

She thought we were just taking pictures at a spot that’s very special to this story, after a weekend at our peaceful place in the woods, but obviously I had other plans. April has said she would marry me for a while now, but I made it official that day.

We’ve told family and some friends, but the kids, who I live with and love like my own, gave us a resounding approval, especially little Otto. He knew I was going to propose, and he kept the secret for me for a while, which if you know Otto, that’s HUGE. He told April that he was proud of her for marrying me, and that means more to me than anything in the world, because I’m more than proud to call her my fiancé.

From attending his first field trip as a chaperone, to attending dr and dental appointments, he is a great roll model for Nora and Otto. He would do anything for us. He was thrown into crazy chaos but Greg is just what this family needed! Thank you for being you and for cheering us on! Thank you for all you do! We know it ain't easy.

MAY 💐
Summer is in full effect around here!
The kiddos finished strong in school.
Dollywood, Nashville for Nora a heart check up (her heart continues to be healthy and strong) Yoga with big foot, river time, a beautiful wedding, bowling, banana ball! The best part of May was having @xbig_brother_gregx by my side, he puts up with it all, he does it all, not for him but for us! I have to remind myself that he is new to this life with kiddos but he is doing a great job being a part of their life! Yesterday I had a root canal and some fillings and he was by my side the whole time *root canals SUCK! Today was a special day for Greg, We celebrated him having 6 years sobriety tonight with Chinese food and milkshakes. I love him so much and I am proud of him! I don't know where I would be without him, I'm thankful for him and these kiddos every day.

My first @unitedbloodrva in 2008, my first hardcore fest, my first stage dive. I knew that I was where I needed to be, I knew that Hardcore made me feel alive. Little did I know that it would end up saving me multiple times and remain the most constant thing in my life. United blood and Richmond holds a space in my heart. This year I was able to share it with someone who holds all the space in my heart, someone I met through Hardcore, someone who helped me through dark times @xbig_brother_gregx I love you so much and I'm so happy we got enjoy the fest and explore the great city of Richmond together! I cried during a few sets this weekend and I just wanna say that I love all my friends, the world is a fucked up place, but you make it better!
