Eine kleine Sneak Peek in meine Antagonisten-Sammlung! 😈✨

Ewige Rivalen – Prerelease in Ludwigshafen 🔥💥

Today I visited the Destined Rivals prerelease event in Ludwigshafen – and it was such an amazing experience to hold the new cards before the official release! 😍✨

Between exciting matches and great conversations, I managed to snag a little gem for my Team Rocket collection! 😈🖤
These kinds of events always remind me why I love the Pokémon TCG community so much. It's not just about the cards – it's about the people. 🙌

Vulpix

I was instantly in love when I first saw Alolan Vulpix. That frosty elegance, the snowy fluff – pure magic. ❄️🦊
And even though it's so different from the original, it still feels like Vulpix through and through – just with an icy twist. 💙

The card I’m showing today is one of my favorite representations of Alolan Vulpix. That cold and calm atmosphere it gives off? Just beautiful.

Hubelupf

Skiploom
Why does Skiploom instantly remind me of the scent of sunflowers? 🌻
Maybe it’s the big flower on its head… or maybe it just radiates those bright, summery vibes. ☀️
I love how some cards can instantly spark a feeling or memory – even when it’s just a little buddy like this. 🥰

Pokédex entry (Pokémon Gold):
„It spreads pollen to protect itself. The powder can attack the eyes and nose.“

The Galarian Legendary Birds – Articuno, Moltres & Zapdos 🕊️🔥⚡
s12a VSTAR Universe was the first display box I ever opened – and the one that pulled me back into the TCG hobby. At that time, I had never seen the Galarian versions of the legendary birds… and I was instantly hooked.

The new designs, those bold poses, and the striking color swaps – it all worked. Especially Galarian Zapdos blew me away with its wild, runner-like vibe. 😄

They reminded me just how much the Pokémon TCG had evolved over the years – and they made coming back feel absolutely right. 💥

Clefable
Pixi always had a gentle, otherworldly vibe – soft, playful, and a little mysterious. Even before the Fairy type existed, it already felt like one. ✨

Ever since I got to know @pinkpokefan, I can't help but associate all pink Pokémon with Frauke. Somehow, she and Pixi are now forever linked in my mind – and I love that.

Fun fact: there’s an old fan theory suggesting that Clefable and Gengar are shadow versions of one another. Their silhouettes? Surprisingly similar!

Pokédex entry (Pokémon Silver):
“A timid fairy Pokémon that is rarely seen. It will run and hide the moment it senses people.”

Hoppspross

Hoppip
Hoppip has always felt like a pure feel-good Pokémon to me. Its soft colors and playful design just bring joy.
It might not be powerful, but it has that undeniable charm that makes it memorable. Cards like these deserve a spot in the Pokédex binder! ☀️🌱
Maybe one day I’ll get my hands on a copy that isn’t quite as damaged. 🥰😋

Pokédex entry (Pokémon Gold):
„It drifts on winds. It is said that when Hoppip gather in fields and mountains, spring is on the way.“

Nachahmerin – Celestial Storm Ultra Rare

-----

Copycat – Celestial Storm Ultra Rare
Back in the day, Copycat was one of the first Supporter cards to really shine in the Pokémon TCG – especially during the e-Card era.
When I first saw the stunning Full Art version from Celestial Storm, I instantly fell in love.
The design, the colors, that nostalgic vibe… absolutely gorgeous!
At the last trade night with the @cardbuddys, I finally managed to pick it up – definitely a highlight in my binder! ✨

---

Clefairy – the Pokémon that almost became the franchise mascot!

Fun fact: Clefairy was originally considered to be Pokémon’s mascot – but Pikachu eventually took the crown.
Why? Pikachu had a more neutral appeal, stood out more visually, and tested better with younger audiences. Plus, Ash’s Pikachu in the anime quickly became iconic and lovable. Still, Clefairy remains a magical Gen 1 classic.
From Mt. Moon to that dreamy moonlight dance – it’s all about nostalgia!

I recently traded for Lili’s Clefairy – such a sweet card – and it instantly made me think of @pink_pokefan.
It’s amazing how many lovely people you meet in the community. If you’re into pink Pokémon, her account is a must-see!

Pokédex Entry (Gold):
„It is said that happiness will come to those who see a gathering of Clefairy dancing under a full moon.“

-----

Politoed – a beauty that’s hard to capture!

I absolutely love the HeartGold & SoulSilver cards, but let’s be real – the holo foiling is a nightmare to photograph.
What I adore most about this one is that it even shows the evolutionary item – the King’s Rock – right in the artwork! 🥰
It’s little touches like that which make me fall in love with this hobby again and again.

Pokédex Entry (Gold):
“It uses the curled-up extensions on its head like antennas to receive distant sounds.”
