We’re already halfway through the season, and I honestly can’t find the words to express just how incredibly proud I am of our young guys for stepping up and owning their moment at homecoming yesterday. Watching each and every one of you grow and evolve this season has been nothing short of a privilege.

It’s truly a privilege to be able to do this. I’m grateful for the opportunity to watch us grow, build, and create something meaningful right here in the place I was raised.

There’s something special about being able to pour back into the community that helped shape me. I don’t take this journey, the people beside me, or how far we’ve come for granted.

There’s something special about slowing down and spending time with the people who make life feel lighter. It was never about where we were, it was about who I was with. The laughs, the convos, the good food, and the simple moments reminded me that home isn’t always a place; it’s the people make anywhere feel like home.

BULLARD HIGH SCHOOL — YEAR 1 ✅

Missing a few people in these pictures, but these are some of the people who made my first year as a PE teacher special. I learned so much this year and was blessed to be surrounded by incredible coaches and educators who set the standard every day. You don’t just build athletes, you build leaders, champions, and better people. The care and passion you pour into these kids never goes unnoticed.

Thank you to the Bullard family for welcoming me with open arms, believing in me, and allowing me to be myself while doing what I love. This first year meant more to me than words can explain, and I’ll always be grateful for the relationships and memories made along the way.

So many great things have happened over these past couple of months. I’ve been holding onto this news for a little while, but first and foremost, I am truly blessed and grateful for every opportunity that has been given to me.

To Bullard High School, thank you for taking a chance on me and allowing me to get my feet wet as a 1st year PE teacher/coach. I’ve learned so much from the amazing coaches, staff, and mentors who supported me throughout this school year. It’s been an incredible ride, and I’ll forever be thankful for the way you all welcomed me with open arms and helped me grow both professionally and personally.

As life and careers evolve, I’m beyond blessed and honored to say that I will be coming back home to Sunnyside High School, my alma mater, to continue my journey as a Physical Education Teacher and Coach. I always knew this was something I wanted to do someday, but I never imagined it would happen this early in my career.

I’m excited, motivated, and ready to give back to the community that helped shape me into the person I am today. As someone who was once a Southeast Fresno kid myself, this opportunity means so much more than just a job. It’s a chance to serve, inspire, lead with purpose, and show these students that anything they dream of is possible with hard work, discipline, faith, and heart.

Thank you to the administration and staff at Sunnyside for believing in me and trusting me with the opportunity to pour into the next generation. I promise to give this community everything I have with passion, selflessness, and love.

I’m coming home, Sunnyside! 💛💙

Never thought in a million years I would be coaching softball. When they asked me to be on staff, I was honestly so iffy at first, but it turned out to be one of the biggest blessings. S/O Coach Jamie Maxey for pushing me past my limits! 📈

These girls were amazing young ladies to coach, with such high standards for themselves both on and off the field. Watching their growth, determination, teamwork, and love for the game was something truly special. Every practice, every game, every laugh, and even the tough moments became memories I’ll always carry with me.

I went into this thinking I was there to teach them, but truthfully they taught me so much more than I could’ve ever imagined about patience, leadership, resilience, and heart. I’m beyond proud of every single one of them and grateful I got the chance to be part of their journey.

Thank you girls for making this experience unforgettable. You all have a special place in my heart, and I can’t wait to see all the amazing things life has in store for you all. 🥎🩵
