Looks like I do have something to post. Frankly I haven't been in a drawing mood lately and most of my time is preoccupied by dreading and reading a bunch of uma musume careers. But I recently came back from Louisiana and starting to get some gears turning. Which could be a lot worst, but I am working on secret projects and thinking about whats next on this little journey of mine. Theres a lot of uncertainty in my mind, but I want to at least try having fun with the process. First thing, I will be slowly changing my online tag to "aplusom", which is just a funky way of reading ATOM. I don't like seeing myself as a brand, I have people see me as that guy who makes creatures and gives a supporting hand. Still the same guy though! Still the same briefcase! I have a one shot comic in the making. I am aiming to get it done by November, since I will be working on Inktober stuff next month! Last dude! My personal favorite out of the roster, fluffy cat with big ol eyes. - Harvey is a young college student studying under the music performance major. His specializes in the trumpet as it bold and loud for someone who is hard of hearing. When he was young and got into an accident that resulted his ears being damaged, he can only hear muffled noises and communicates through sign language. Although appearing shy and fearful, he shines through by expressing himself through cute fashion and playing his wonderful songs. - Harvey is really important to me as he was one of the few disabled characters I've made. Second to last character I shall be showcasing this week, the favorite of them all- Mud - Mud is a random character that I've only drawn once back in high school. It was for a art show and my teacher wanted me to participate. Yet I decided to add them to the roster for Artfight 2025, and EVERYONE LOVED THIS THING EVER SINCE. - It is some kind of blue footed creature, no one knows what it actually looks like under the giant lily pad it wears. You only see this mysterious creature outside of it's pond during rain showers or when the surface has high humidly. I believe Sal is one of the only human characters i have??? at least in this specific world build - Sal is one of the last humans that exist in a world of beastmen. After a calamity that mutated all lifeforms into monsterious forms- humans had returned to the order of magic to save what was left of themselves. Resulting in todays beastmen like Zola and Fio. Sal in mysterious circumstances survived and lives within the deep forests whom they have come to known as their guardian. Sal is no different from any other child their age, besides their deep connections towards spiritual entities that inhabit their home. second favorite design feature? robots! I love robots! - Fiorella, or Fio is pretty much Alphonse Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist and Atom from Astro Boy fused together. She is a poor soul bounded to a metal shell that she is able to pilot in order to interact with the world. Unfortunately, she is unable to grow the same way as her peers- but they feel nonetheless like any other child. Including buried trauma and the guilt of Zola's sacrifice for her to even be still existing. - - - #oc #mouse #robot by @aplusoms

If there is anything I love in character designs, its animal turned into monsters with some humanoid features. - Izutsumi from Dungeon Meshi and the Laguz from Fire Emblem were huge inspirations to designing a creating a world full of these people. I still got a long way ago... - Anyways, Zola is a mechanic who fixes gadgets and vehicles from the locals. They are a wanted citizen who had escaped from an incident that cause her to lose her arm while performing a forbidden spell revolving around necromancy. - That's all I can say for them as I plan to someday tell her story in a form of a one shot comic. About time I post my character references i used for art fight this year! - Atom was actually the last proper ref I made since I never put my own sona as a drawable oc in the previous year. My apple obsession was just only beginning and they fitted well with my black n red color scheme.
