Just finished the paint job for this massive Bored Ape NFT sculpture, measuring 1.90 m (6’2”). I used my @iwata_airbrush for the base and added details with @morphebrushes. 🎨⚒️
3D Printed and designed by my incredibly talented friend Joel.
I’m incredibly pleased and proud of the final result. I absolutely love my job and feel so grateful to be able to do this! 🫶🏼

Still stocked after learning from the legendary Jordu Schell at Film Makeup Academy.
Diving deep into creature design with the one and only Jordu Schell was on another level; THAT kind of experience that upgrades your artistic DNA.
Learning directly from such an influential artist in this industry is an honor I’ll never forget.

Watching his process up close was amazing, the kind that shifts your perspective and elevates your entire approach to creature design.
Being surrounded by creativity, passion, and the wisdom of someone who helped shape the industry reminded me exactly why I chose this path… and why this is where I belong.

Moments like this don’t just inspire you, they transform you.
A rare and unforgettable opportunity to witness that level of mastery right in front of you.
I feel incredibly fortunate to have been there, learning from someone who continues to inspire so many of us to create without limits.

What an unforgettable experience. 👽👽👽👽 by @apmakeupfx

Bienvenidos a Film Makeup Academy.

Part 1 of the painting process of this amazing 1.2-meter Bored Ape, designed and 3D printed by my incredibly talented friend Joel.
Many of the paint details were done with an airbrush, and others with a brush.
I used different techniques throughout the process, with colors and textures that matched the reference image.
I loved collaborating on this project, and I’m so happy to keep creating and doing what I love!
Stay tuned for part 2 and the final result!
