Hey Portland! This weekend I'm at Rose City Comic Con for the first time ever! So far Portland has been a blast and so welcoming to us. I've got a lot of the same stuff as usual with the addition of some new stickersheets!

Areli of @Apocoleli will be joining the market to share her art and stationary made with magic! ⠀

Apocoleli primarily shares prints of her original illustrations, as well as various stationary products such as notepads, washi tape, stickers, and sticker sheets. Much of her work is inspired by combining mundane moments with a hint of magic or whimsy (and cats!). This up-and-comer also loves to self publish her own children’s books and art books.⠀

Don't you wish you could be under the sea? In an Octopus's Garden? Me too. 🐙

This piece was probably my favorite one to paint. The fish are flushed in various shades of peach, pink, blue, and purple. Wet on wet blending techniques are one of the reasons I find watercolor and inks so addicting, it's such a satisfying effect but so difficult to control. It's a great feeling to see it all come together in the end even with a few mistakes here and there.

Painting fish nestled in some seaweed, maybe they'll kiss 🐟🩷🐠

Painted in acrylic ink using some really fun neon colors. I'm working on a series of underwater paintings so stay tuned for more reels of my process! Or don't, maybe I'll never post a reel again. Who knows.
