And just like that: another new exciting hotel opening on the island… on August 16th, the Four Seasons Resort Mallorca at Formentor @fsrmallorca opened its doors… 🔑 I was lucky enough to discover it and “scout” it a bit for you.Located in an exclusive 1’200-acre private estate in Cape of Formentor, the property offers to connect its guests with the beautiful nature of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Serra de Tramuntana.Rich of the history of Hotel Formentor, opened in 1929, and the numerous writers, actors and members of an international global elite who came to relax on the island, the new Four Seasons Mallorca will welcome guests of all ages in search of unforgettable moments by the Mediterranean. This last June 16th, one of Mallorca’s most exciting new hotels opened its doors… 🔑 Located at the heart of a private 1,300 acres estate, in Mallorca’s Tramuntana Mountains overlooking the north coast, Son Bunyola is Sir Richard Branson’s newest property. Honouring the heritage of this historic building dating back to the 1500’s has been central to the restoration project, with traditional and local materials at the core of the hotel design. Earlier this January, I had the privilege of attending the B2B event @essentiasicily organized by @essenceofsicily to explore some hidden gems of this increasingly popular destination in Italy 🇮🇹. In just a few days, I found myself captivated by the largest island in the Mediterranean, overflowing with treasures — from historical wonders like the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento to culinary delights found in its bustling markets, including exquisite olive oil, fine wines, mouthwatering ricotta, and irresistible pastries. Beyond these, I discovered the true heart of Sicily — its people, the continuation of age-old traditions, and its incredibly diverse cultural and architectural influences. From Greek temples and Norman cathedrals to Arab domes and Baroque palaces, Sicily is a mesmerizing blend of civilizations that have shaped its identity over centuries.
