In a kiss, there's passion that ignites with the power of a volcano, there's acceptance, a deep connection. Love.
Even in a casual encounter, I've experienced the beauty of it all. And as our bodies still held each other, I was able to say, "Can I give you a kiss?"

This Kiss is part of a series of three paintings dedicated to the forms and power of love.
I'm truly happy that it's now in the homes of people I respect, love, and am privileged to call friends. (I miss you guys.)

The Dawn of a Kiss.

In 2023, I had my first exhibition in Provincetown. One morning, @woodyshimko the gallery owner, messaged me asking me to arrive as soon as possible because someone wanted to meet me.
I grabbed my bike and rushed there. When I arrived, I found a man a little older than me looking at this painting with emotion, his eyes filled with tears. He said to me: "This painting captures the intensity of love and my story. Life has thrown many hardships at me. I thought I'd never find love again at my age; I felt hopeless. Instead, a chance encounter turned into the beginning of a love that still lasts today. In this painting, I see that dawn when I felt I could be loved."
I was left breathless and moved. That painting couldn't be in better hands. As long as a single work of art of mine can speak so deeply to people's hearts, I know that life could not give me a greater privilege, and all my pain will find redemption.

N el 2023 ho avuto la mia prima mostra a Provincetown. Una mattina Woody, il gallerista mi telefona chiedendomi di arrivare il prima possibile perché c'era una persona che mi voleva conoscere. Ho preso la bicicletta e mi sono precipitato lì. quando sono arrivato ho trovato un uomo un po' più grande Xdi me che guardava questo quadro con emozione e gli occhi gonfi di lacrime.
Mi disse: "in questo quadro c'è l' intensità dell'amore e la mia storia. la vita mi ha riservato dure prove.Pensavo che alla mia età non avrei più trovato l' amore, mi sentivo senza speranza. Invece è capitato che un' incontro occasionale sia diventato l' inizio di un amore che dura ancora oggi. in questo quadro io vedo quell'alba in cui ho sentito che potevo essere amato. "
Sono rimasto senza fiato e commosso. quel quadro non potrebbe essere in mani migliori. Finché una mia opera d'arte, anche una sola, riuscirà a parlare così profondamente al cuore delle persone io so che non potrei avere un privilegio più grande dalla vita ed ogni mio dolore trova riscatto.
