Ethereal ✨💚

The Green Vine Snake — a master of camouflage, moving silently through the rain-soaked forests of Amboli. Mildly venomous yet harmless to humans, these elegant arboreal snakes rely on patience, precision, and invisibility to survive.

In Amboli, even the vines can stare back at you. 🌿✨

Gorgeous Ghazal 💚🐆

As we tracked leopards through the park, we noticed a shadow tucked away in the bushes. We knew something was there. As we slowly moved closer, there she was... sitting quietly, almost melting into the greenery. 💚🐆

Within moments, safari vehicles came rushing in. She stayed alert, but completely unbothered by the crowd. It almost felt like her attention was fixed on something else hidden deep within the forest.

She's one of Jhalana's shyest leopards, and just getting to see her is an achievement in itself. 😍

And honestly, nothing compares to seeing a leopard against the lush green carpet of the monsoon. Those golden rosettes glowing amidst the green forest- pure magic. ✨💚

Happy World Snake Day 🐍💚✨

Among the most misunderstood creatures on this planet are snakes - silent, beautiful beings that have been feared, persecuted, and killed for centuries.

Stories, movies, and folklore have often painted them as symbols of evil. Films like Naagin and countless superstitions have created generations of fear and misinformation, distancing people from the truth.

But if you look closely at our own culture, you'll find a very different lesson.

In Hinduism, almost every animal is revered in some form. Have you ever wondered why Lord Shiva is depicted with a snake around his neck? Or why the tiger, cow, peacock, snake, rat, and so many other animals are woven into our mythology?

It was never just about worship, it was about understanding coexistence.

Our ancestors knew that every species has a purpose. They used stories and symbolism to teach us that nature is an interconnected web, where the survival of one often depends on another.

Snakes are one of nature's most effective pest controllers. Without them, rodent populations would explode, bringing crop loss, food shortages, and diseases that directly affect human lives.

It's time we move beyond fear and superstition.

Read. Learn. Ask questions. Listen to people who study and work with wildlife. Replace myths with knowledge, and fear with respect.

Every life on this planet has a role to play.

Humans are not the only important species—we are simply one part of nature's intricate balance.

Let's choose understanding over fear.

Happy World Snake Day 🐍💚

Flowers: Nature's most precious babies. 🥰🌸

My heart has always belonged where flowers bloom—wildly, happily, and freely. ✨

The more I watch them, the more I feel my soul resonates with them. They endure storms, harsh seasons, and even being trampled underfoot, yet they choose to bloom.

No matter how many times they are crushed, they rise again with quiet strength, adding beauty to the world without asking for anything in return.

Maybe that's why I love them so deeply. ❤️🌸

Arboreal Movements

This was our second Panda Sighting when the Panda was quite too shy and kept on moving from one tree to another!! They are usually very quite like moving on a stealth mode on! If it goes out of your sighting you might find it difficult to locate it, though the bright color on its body makes it stand out in all these greens!!
Red Pandas are mostly arboreal, only during mating seasons they come down to mark their territories!

It was lovely watching it navigate itself across those trees with so much ease 😍

Manifestation ✨🪷

Story Time:

After our first Red Panda sighting, we trekked back to our meeting point. From there we could see a Magnolia tree in it's glory and me & @saibarlrana wished together for a sighting at such a beautiful tree!!
The very next day we were at Kalpokhri, we get the call that a big Young Male has been spotted!!
We trekked up and down, falling, slipping reached the destination....and there he was, at the Magnolia Tree!!
Probably I suspect its the very tree me and Saiba were talking about!!!

Just how this universe works right? How magic can happen right in front of your eyes is just unbelievable but it did because we were just being the silly Wildlife Photographer who wish for a lot of things in the Wild!!!!
But this time the Universe blessed us ✨

Super super grateful for this moment ❤️✨🪷
Huge thank you to my favourite @colonelhathi_ Team for guiding and taking us to such magical forest to witness this most adorable species on the planet!!! 😍

Sweet & Sour !! ✨❤️🐼

When you have to trek 6–7 km through steep mountain forests with an injury, a bad cough, and a cold, you learn what real struggle feels like.

That was me during this year's Red Panda expedition in the Padma Sambhav Community Forest, Ilam, Nepal.

It was difficult. Really difficult. But every step was worth it.

The journey taught me a lot about my own strength, stamina, and resilience. There were moments when I wanted to slow down, stop, or question whether I could keep going. But I did. And for that, I am proud of myself.

More importantly, I am grateful to the incredible people around me. My group supported me every step of the way, waited for me when I fell behind, encouraged me when I struggled, offered to carry my weight again and again and never let me give up. Sometimes growth comes not only from pushing yourself, but also from accepting help when you need it.

And then, after all that effort, moments like this—watching a Red Panda feeding peacefully high in the trees—make every ache, every breathless climb, and every difficult kilometer worth remembering.

A huge thank you to @colonelhathi_ for arranging everything and making me as comfortable as possible throughout the trip. ❤️🙏
