Proud to present a limited run of 25 tees we made in partnership with Fondation Yan Morvan tonight. The print references a 1980's portrait of Yan in front of an artwork featuring this quote. We felt it related neatly to his work: no demagogy whatsoever. The tees are printed on 1980's paperthin single-stitched blanks. by @appendix______

Cette exposition présentera l’intégralité des publications Archives Yan Morvan, la consultation et la vente de livres rares de Yan Morvan, un accrochage in situ et la vente d'un special gift Fondation Yan Morvan/Appendix. Vernissage jeudi 8 octobre dès 18h chez Appendix, 1 cour de l’île Louviers Paris 75004 Quentin Euverte, responsable des Archives Yan Morvan et Stephan Mallavergne d’Ephemera dialogueront autour de l’œuvre humaniste de ce photographe. Yan Morvan (1954-2024) a longtemps travaillé comme photographe de guerre, parcourant le monde pour couvrir de nombreux conflits de la seconde moitié du XXe. Il a collaboré avec les plus grands journaux internationaux, reçu de nombreux prix pour son travail de photojournalisme. Intéressé par les marges, il a photographié les bas-fonds parisiens, les différents gangs et groupuscules, ainsi que le monde du sexe. by @appendix______

Tonight, we will exclusively serve 24 bottles out of 600 produced for the very first batch of @messengercoldbrew — a new caffeinated beverage with art direction by sculptor and friend of the store @marcleschelier. The coffee comes from @fincanogales52, one of the best farms in Colombia. A low-caffeine cold brew, made without any chemical process, roasted in Paris by @kbcoffeeroastersparis and Goran Pilipovic. MESSENGER Cold Brew will soon be permanently available at the shop. by @appendix______

GOALPOST BY DARREN GWYNN LAUNCH & BOOK SIGNING Thursday, June 25th - 6.30 to 9 pm Appendix - 1 cour de l'Ile Louviers- Paris 04 Goalpost emerged from a curiosity of tension in photographs.Stillness and velocity, intimacy and distance, the field and the figure.These photographs serve as negotiations where body becomes landmark.Each gesture, each fragment of movement, translates an interior rhythm onto open ground. The book itself comes in a limited edition print box with the Goal Post logo printed on the cover.The 1st Edition is a limited print run ofonly 300 with each box individually numbered on the back of the book. Darren Gwynn is a photographer and director, originally from South Africa. His passion for image-making ignited at a young age, experimenting with alternative darkroom processes. He pursued this interest academically, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Photography, Fine Art, and Art History. Relocating to London, Darren honed his craft by assisting several of today’s leading photographers. This event is curated by Ephemera with the help of Trouble Mngt. by @appendix______
