After months of uncertainty, @apple32me was diagnosed with Diabetes Insipidus – rare, but real.

With the right treatment, she got her strength back... and held her healthy baby boy in her arms.
Today, nearly 50, Thu runs with balance, joy,
and a deep belief in the power of movement –
for body and mind. ❤️

Real talk: this build was messy. Sickness, travel, fire, evacuation, workshops, heavy workload, more flu.

If your training isn’t going perfectly either, you’re not alone. You can still show up.

Halbmarathon on Sunday, wish me luck 🍀

Not a typo. Teenagers, rifles, and a city wide half public holiday.

Welcome to #Knabenschiessen, one of Zürich’s oldest traditions, supervised, regulated, and over a century old.

This happens every September in Zürich: all 13 to 17 year olds going to school or in an apprenticeship in the canton may compete in a shooting contest of 5 shots, 1-1 instructor assisting each child ❤️ no experience needed.

Just bring an ID and CHF 15 for the registration fee.

The King 🤴 or Queen 👸 is crowned on Monday and receives CHF 5000 plus a flight in the Swiss Airforce Super Puma 🚁

My daughter’s second year on the range, just missed the „Gabentisch“ by 1 point (28 points and you get to choose one of the bicycles or other nice gifts on display) but hey, 9pts up from last year ☺️ and she got a Swiss pocket knive 🇨🇭

Every participant gets a voucher for a burger or sausage and at least 20 CHF on their ZKB bank account 🤩

The fair itself is Switzerland‘s biggest pop-up fairground with almost 1mio visitors over 3 days (Saturday-Monday), food, music and rides for big and small 🎡🎢🎠🎟️

PS: rides are free on Monday 11:00-11:30 😉

Anyone else’s kid competing this year?

The Hella Hamburg Halbmarathon 2026 got cancelled due to a heat wave. My husband’s first half marathon, his sister took a 24h train from Sweden to run it with us.

We were gutted for about 10 minutes.

Then we ran twice in the heat, ate our way through Hamburg, and did absolutely unhinged things in front of the Dockland building.

Training doesn’t disappear because a race does. Neither does a good weekend.

📍 Hamburg, 30°C, no bib, zero regrets 🥰

May we meet again. ❤️

Three years. Fourteen events. Cities I never expected to run in, people I never expected to find.

The ASICS FrontRunner Switzerland chapter is closing, but what it gave me stays. Not the kilometres, not the kit, not even the finish lines. The people. The ones who showed up in the rain in Lausanne, who screamed at the Oslo finish line, who squeezed into that Hamburg selfie and laughed until it hurt.

It’s not what you said. It’s how you made me feel: welcomed, included, as part of something bigger, united by movement, sharing laughter and pure joy.

To every single one of you, thank you for making this one of the most meaningful chapters of my running life. We will stay in contact. And one day, somewhere on a start line, may we meet again.

Thank you @asicsfrontrunner, @naville_g, @tinaconcan, @davidlenneman, @lina_brendle, @niccoloves I am forever grateful that you made these incredible experiences and wonderful connections possible ✨
