My blood and I couldn’t B-Positive, so we chose Type O Negative 🎸 — to find sunshine and solace at different latitudes.

The world continually (and intentionally) tries to tear us apart, but songs, strangers, animals, gym, bikes, mountains, skies, and waters keep us intact, sound, and free of what isn’t genuine.

We have no reason to worry…
because they will always be there for us,
and lemons and limoncello (spritz) will always be here. 🍋🥂 [hydration 😂]

Hiking Forcella Staunies — life on a steep and challenging gravel route (approx. 700 m of elevation gain) in a couloir/an abandoned ski slope in Gruppo del Cristallo, Dolomiti.

1. Found a box, struck a pose.
2. The title of this album is: Thunderstorm and Scree — A Love Story.
3. Inner demon said, “A safe descent on this scree is going to be tricker and slower than the ascent but what is life without some altitude thrill? Just slide or roll down.” 🤣
4. Rio Gere—Son Forca, 1688 to 2220 m
5. Discontinued ski lift route (Forcella Staunies, 2924 m), steep gradient, unmaintained scree “trail”… but a visually stunning climb? Let’s go!

14. Thanks to Son Forca station attendant for rushing and ramping the speed for the last chairlift down to 1688 m. Lightning and rain started mid ride and they paused the chairlift for a minute. The chair was swinging and so was my heart. What a thrill...er! 😱🤣

Anyhow, I can’t wait to do it again. 🤣

Here I am… a mountain fanatic equipped with a camera attempting to show you glimpses of my life in the Dolomiti. I know it’s impossible to capture and truly justify the beauty and the aura of this Italian terrain with pictures and videos. You have to physically be here to witness and absorb it all.

Wandered from Gruppo dei Cadini (Cadini di Misurina, Lago di Misurina) to Tre Cime di Lavaredo [see the trail map (7) and the trail (8)] to eventually capture some epic sunset sceneries.

Dead legs, bacon skin, and hunger didn’t matter. There were butterflies in my stomach, an unstoppable grin on my face, and an enigmatic energy surrounding me. Perhaps I’ve never been happier.
