One more month of❤️ To Wear Your Heart on Your Sleeve❤️ at @liverpoolpowerhouse which was originally commissioned as a part of Revealing Dress and then extended yahooo! Love to be a chatterbox with @gardenreflex.x.x they made this nice video for the show!!! I find this way easier than the artist talk that I barely did on opening night 🤣 so I'm sharing this to #plug #my #show !!! Also run don't walk to see the new collaborative artworks made with kids in the area with @spider_of_kn0ts support ! Was really special to make art with the kids and get to know our feelings better together yayyyyy ☺️🦋🦋🦋🎈🎈❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ ilyyyy everyone who has been to see the show meant so much to me 💯‼️👄 biggest thank you to @luke.letourneau for giving me this opportunity was crazy special and he was so amazing to work a real dream come true , I always wanted to make something really big and luke was so supportive and encouraging and it was such a wonderful experience yayyyyy ❤️❤️❤️❤️ closes July 11 🍀 taken in Liverpool Powerhouse by @appleppear

@ange_goh @palmtreesfall commissioned me to make the Storyteller cloaks for The Concert at @sydneyoperahouse , me and @palmtreesfall stayed up for two nights making them and then the next day we filmed and I read @hol__l__y beautiful words as the storyteller, was a very special project 💗🍀⛲️ charms by @anna_may_kirk make up by @ameeliaeve 🌟🌟🌟 by @appleppear

Damien Minton presents "The world is like an apple whirling silently in space" dedicated to the beautiful butterfly I found in Ashfield, and all the precious things I love. This show is dedicated to the butterfly I found last Winter on the sidewalk in Ashfield. She had a broken wing and I took her in and made a small palliative care unit at home for her. She drank sugar water and flowers but she only lived a few days. When she passed away, I painted her a coffin and sewed her a little bed. I played her some music that my friend Laura told me helps spirits move from one world to the next. I have wanted to have a funeral for her for a long time, and thought maybe this show could be a funeral for her. I have surrounded her with things she liked but I have also painted recurring magical symbols in my life: dandelions, red shoes, castles, the night sky. I have four leaf clovers hidden in the show too. I have painted the things that remind me of beauty and magic, and think of all of my paintings as magic spells, lots of ingredients and incantations go into them and then they all come together and create something. All of my paintings have ears and listen to music and the things we say to them. The dandelion is a wishing painting you can tell your wishes too, it is based on a dandelion I saw 7 years ago walking with Verity and Arca after the rain. I'm not sure yet what the magic spells are creating but I just like thinking about them in that way. by @appleppear

I am in luv w the moths flying in the planets I can't stop painting them and then always the dandelions with the entire worlds inside breaks my heart w all the beauty in this world 🥚whole world sparkling w beautiful gems of life and the star has eyes looking back at me in the sky ... sacrificed a little of the button collection to the moths so happy they like them ... ‼️

This heart shape locket is apart of show ~To Wear Your Heart on Your Sleeve~ which is on for another 6 weeks at @liverpoolpowerhouse It is inspired by Victorian lockets, I wanted to originally make a braided hair locket but then I decided to paint the portraits of the old lovers. I love the old photos you find in lockets, and I tried to make my lady look like Clara Bow and the guy kind of looks like James Dean... today is Marilyn Monroe's 100th birthday too.... I love love and jewellery and Clara Bow and treasure !!! happy Marilyn's birthday to all <3 by @appleppear

this beautiful butterfly found me in ashfield walking down the street, she hurt her wing but flew onto my hand and spent her final days at my house having fresh flowers and sugar water, it felt only right to send her off in a pretty coffin made from a matchbox I found on the street when I was thinking about her 🦋 on her last days she listened to nice music to help her go from one life to the next I hope she comes back as an artist in Sydney so we can be friends and meet again 🦋🦋🦋❤️❤️❤️💚💚🍀🍀thank u for the great honour of sending you off 🦋🦋🍀🍀🍀❤️❤️ by @appleppear
