🥀 GARDEN OF TORMENT 🥀

August 28th 🩸

The flowers are dead. The roots are hungry. Something is waiting beneath the soil. We are not the same

Huge thank you to @severeddubstep for jumping on this one with me and making it even darker. 🖤 by @applesnozz

Devastating is an understatement. You were my little buddy who was there waiting for his portion of my food anytime I had any. Any noise you would go investigate like you were protecting the whole family. Any bag brought in needed to be inspected by inspector Charlos before it could be unpacked to make sure it was allowed in the house. You protected us against squirrels and birds and the occasional neighbor who you didn’t think should be near. But really you were just a big cuddle bug who wanted to be pet 24/7. I remember bringing you home and you were so anxious you farted the whole hour ride home. You never grew out of the anxious but you learned to use it to your advantage. You would take any anxiousness we had and keep it for yourself like it was a super power. I’m going to miss you sleeping between my legs every night and seeing your ears perk up when I got home and you jumping up and running to the back door so you could start the day by taking a pee and searching to see if squirrels touched your yard. You were the best dog I’ve ever had and I’m so sorry you passed away so young, I thought you’d live forever. I thought I’d get to see you be an old man and see you see bentley grow up. Those were the best 6 years with you. I’m empty now. Completely lost and frozen in time. Charlie I wish I could have one more scoff because you couldn’t have my candy bar Or one more bark or just those big brown eyes looking up at me waiting for what I was going to do next. You were truly man’s best friend. And you’ll be missed more then you could ever know. Devastated is an understatement. Love you charlos. by @applesnozz
