Aster Tataricus - also known as Shion (Xion) flowers. In Japanese they mean, “I won’t forget you.”

Kingdom Hearts fans will know what this means. Never forget the kindness of others. Never forget the kindness you share with your friends.

Also, “Roxas, that’s a stick.”

Throwback to that time I was getting video of reckless driving in a neighborhood, and a driver crossed the double yellow line and ran over my phone. My phone was fine, thanks, @otterbox ! My phone tripod, however, did not survive.

The driver’s face has been blurred. I spoke with the driver who said they saw something in the road and “swerved to avoid it.” The only way my phone would have been hit would be from someone crossing over the double yellow line. It was perfectly centered between the lines, there would be no way to strike it unless someone swerved over the lines (which you can see happened in this clip). I got 3 cars prior to this (including a large UPS truck) passing by my phone without any issue.

This footage was for a story about reckless driving in a Lancaster County neighborhood, after an elderly woman was hit by a car drifting out of their lane. The woman was walking her dog and picking up her dog’s waste, when a vehicle drifted into the shoulder and struck the woman. The driver fled the scene and was later apprehended by the police.

This was also the last time I put my phone in the road, no matter how safe I felt it would be! Definitely a stupid thing for me to do in the first place, but WOW what a shot!
