The Armorer- Arduin Rurik is a veteran sailor on the @thesealords ship the Atalanta, who fights in the Scythe anti-flanking unit and serves as the ship’s armorer.

Unsurprisingly, the most fun part of creating this character for @weekendwarriorexperience has been making and upgrading my armor year after year. Bringing the character to life through the layers and details and getting to live it out for a weekend has been so rewarding. Each year I bring my leather kit and get to help others gear up and repair any broken armor before battle.

Fantastic footage by @620films, edit and costume by me. by @apprenticeworkshop

Bath time for the gambeson 🛁 Keeping the buckle straps out of the water by holding up a waterlogged chunk of fabric with one arm nearly took me out, but it’s worth it for the next step
