This past Friday was the first ever meeting of the Carlisle Coffee Cruisers!

This awesome group chose to jump start their day at 6:30AM sharp with a run on a dark and chilly morning. Then we caffeinated and refueled at @madroastcoffee before heading off to work!

Missed our first run and feeling all the FOMO? The Carlisle Coffee Cruisers will meet next on Friday, November 13th and 27th, same time, same place! Don't forget, it will still be dark - We have all the reflective vests and lighted gear you need in store! by @apprunco

Friday is the day! At 6:30 a.m., we’ll set out for a 3- or 5-mile run around town, then meet back at @madroastcoffee for coffee and breakfast to kickstart our day.

We look forward to seeing all the early risers at our first group run as the Carlisle Coffee Cruisers!

See you there! by @apprunco

It’s time to hit the trails!
Join us this Saturday morning for a fun run on the Appalachian Trail!
We’ll meet up at Stony Ridge Park — 50 Bernheisel Bridge Rd, Carlisle, PA 17015 at 7:30am.
Then, we’ll head NORTH towards Scott Farm for an out and back run. You decide your distance — some will go for 3-4 and others up to 12 miles.
NOTE: The first 2 miles or so of this trail is not overly technical and is suitable for beginning trail runners or those who only want to go up to 4 miles. After that, the path starts to climb uphill towards Darlington Shelter and is more technical in nature.
ALSO: If the gate to the parking lot is closed, proceed just a short distance to the small gravel lot on your right (with a Port-a-Potty) and park there.
Hope to see you there! by @apprunco

It's that time of year again - Fall brings cooler temps, but it also means we have to sacrifice sunlight.
With less daylight, it's important for runners to make sure they're both visible to cars & can see all the cracks in the sidewalks!

This also means it's time for our annual Illumination Run! Join us tomorrow night, Wednesday, October 21st at 6PM and bring your illumination gear!

Wear as many bright colors and illumination products as you can. Think flashlights, headlamps, glowsticks, reflective vests. Pull out all the stops, there will be a prize up for grabs for the most illuminated runner!

We hope to see you there! by @apprunco
