i’ve spent the last eight years with my life packed into three suitcases. it used to make me feel free- knowing that i had the power to start over at any time. i got really good at saying goodbye

missing my family in new york, and my friends scattered all over the world- hell i miss strangers i haven’t even met. moving around so much has caused me to miss a lot of things- it feels like a perpetual state of yearning for another time and another place

i moved to california this past october, and am delusional enough to be pursuing art full time. the world is on fire and i want to be an artist! because i no longer desire to disappear- i wish to stay, to come home. creating is an act of connection- so i guess this is me trying to remember, to write it down, to document it all
