I'm happy to let you know we have our next Sasya Sunaada on 20 September, Sunday, that's tomorrow. We are conducting this for a bunch of high school students of @the.anugraha.project
Sasya Sunaada for these students includes a lovely little Tree walk, a challenging quiz based on this walk, an exciting nature-based Scavenger hunt and a creative Nature Art activity. The focus is on bonding with nature, developing a new-found respect and awe for trees that grow around us, and picking up loads of vital soft skills through these interesting activities. My teammates and I are looking forward to meet these students and have a lot of fun with them.

It's the fourth day and I'm amost there...
Loved painting the bamboo trellis.
I've always loved painting wood of all kinds, especially old weathered wood, and adding those quintessential details. It's so much fun !

My heart is filled with gratitude.

Utterly chaotic yet charming and colourful.
That's namma Bengaluru's iconic KR (Krishna Rajendra) Market. This place offers you fresh vegetables to refreshing and fragrant flowers and everything in between. If you're adventurous enough to brave the crowds and do some deft obstacle hopping, this place has a lot to offer. Visual delights all around, old-worlde santhe aesthetics at every corner, delightful characters and personalities, a plethora of fragrances, aromas, scents and even smells that not-so-gently waft by your nostrils and not to forget some sakkath deals that make your wallet happy.

I was there once again with Chinmay (my former suddent, now teammate) on a photo walk, early this morning. It was a very interesting and fascinating experience. Definitely not an easy task to shoot. What with the constantly 'in-action' crowd and the fact that more than your lens you have to keep focussing on not steeping into the million things that are littered (I'm not getting into the details) all over. We kept visually losing and finding each other all the time. It was like a game of 'hide and seek.' Undoubtedly challenging, but a lot of fun. And the bisi bisi, aromatic coffee that we found there, helped keep us going.

After all this, would I think of going back to KR Market? Oh yes, I definitely would!! I just love the chaotic and colourful charm of this place. I'm already looking forward to my next photo jaunt. 🤗😁

This year I've turned the spotlight on wild flowering plants growing in urban spaces. Some of them are really beautiful but not all of us have had the opportunity to see them up close. These beauties definitely deserve to be showcased and appreciated. Each of the twelve, detailed illustrations has been originally hand painted by me and then printed on beautiful 300 gsm Modigilani paper. I've loved working on every single sketch. Each painstaking stroke has been well worth it.
