If you watch one thing today, make it this. ❤️

Tom Bushin’s rendition of “Skinny Love” on The Voice of Germany is just beautiful. Stripped back, heartfelt and full of emotion, it’s a performance that makes you stop and listen. Two coaches turned their chairs, and it’s easy to hear why.

The song meant something particularly special to Tom: it was one his mum loved. His biggest supporter, she had always encouraged him to pursue music, and this was his moment to honour that.

We caught up with Tom to hear the story behind the audition, and he was so open and thoughtful with his answers. From the nerves before walking on stage to seeing his family afterwards, choosing Shirin David as his coach and finding his confidence through gigs in the Alps, this is an interview well worth taking a few minutes to read.

We’re so proud to have Tom as part of Après Ski Bands, and even happier that he’ll be joining us for his first full winter season in the Alps! 🏔️

Where do you go for the best live music in the French Alps?

We’ve pulled together a few of the resorts and venues we know well , from big outdoor après in Val d’Isère and plenty of live bands back home in Méribel.

And obviously… this barely scratches the surface.

There are so many brilliant venues, bars, hotels and stages across the Alps that we couldn’t possibly fit them all into one post.

We’re super excited to announce we’ll be returning as guest artists with @virginvoyages throughout October on their inaugural luxury ship, the Scarlet Lady ⚓

We’ll be performing to sailors as we travel across the Mediterranean from Athens to Barcelona, then across the Atlantic to Miami followed by a loop around the Carribean. We can’t wait!

Greenland’s southern Fjords 🇬🇱 what an experience… it was one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen, earth at its purest. It was like being in Asgard or Vanahiem. I am so grateful to be part of this experience with @virginvoyages spending the day like this, and then rocking out in the evening to the sailors, insane. It was only right we played Immigrant song by @ledzeppelin 🧜🏾‍♀️
