Save this before packing for your next ski trip/season! 🗻🎿
It’s all about layering—once you nail that, you will never have a bad day on the slopes again!
Depending on where you’re going and how cold it gets there, I would strongly advise you to double up on the mid layer 🏔️🤍

YOU NEED TO KNOW THIS!!

1- You don’t need to wake up at 7 am and get the 1st lift to have a good day on the slopes
2- You DO NOT need to eat at an overpriced restaurant everyday (a baguette ham and a drink will set you back 5€ and fill you up too)
3- You do not need the arcteryx jacket instead invest in good quality layers specifically merino wool for your base layer a neck warmer and a good insulated jacket)
4- Buy the grippy ski socks you WILL thank me later
5- Get those fitted ski boots it’s the best investment you’ll make!
6- Learn the bus routes and if you’ve got a car get snow tyres and ski chains
7- Don’t be scared to bring a few cute tops and T-shirts it gets really hot in the clubs!
8- Bring your favourite medications (painkillers etc… they’re quite expensive in the mountains and you’ll thank me when you wake up extremely hungover)
9- Leave the converses and any cotton canvas trainers at home they’ll get wet within a minute on a rainy/snowy day
10- Bring your best version to the mountains be nice to everyone you meet and remember you’re all seasonnaires and you’ll make friends in no time :)

Do you actually need and want all of those things or did social media and all of your favourite influencers make you believe you do? I can guarantee you when I went to Morzine I didn’t own any of the above and YET I had the time of my life #skiseason #ski #explorepage✨ #alps #après by @apreswithd
