Bugtober Day 17, Iridescent! 💿🪽
—————————
I tried to challenge myself by drawing a character that uses a grayscale color palette!

🥹🙏🙏♥️♥️♥️ Thank you everyone for your kind comments! I will be late with my responses, but I will read and cherish them all deeply! 🫶♥️♥️♥️♥️

Bugtober Day 14: Outer-Worldy 🪐🛸
—————————
I was excited to draw today’s theme! ✨✨ This artwork features Demos, the heroic bacteria-busting alien!

I enjoyed creating this piece! 😆✨I drew this on the same day that I had played Outer Wilds and watched Project Hail Mary, so I was in a very suitable mood..! 🦠

Space-like and sci-fi themes used to be one of my least favorite genres within media, when I was much younger. Now, I have grown a much stronger appreciation for it! It has helped me immensely, that I had begun to associate these themes with my friends, whom I deeply cherish! 🥹♥️

Bugtober Day 13: Flowers 🌹!
—————————
Of course, the most beautiful of flowers would also be the most narcissistic! ✨💐✨

Meet Rose! 😆🌹 There is no flower who is more diligent in self-maintenance than him! His pruning skills have truly paid off well…! ♥️♥️♥️

I’m finally posting my Bugtober drawings a little bit sooner now, because I’ve worked hard to draw several of them in advance! 🫡✨✨✨

Bugtober Day 12: Bug Picnic! 🌙🥬
—————————
I tried something different, and redrew a panel that I had made in Gartic Phone a while ago! 🫶♥️ (They’re both so nervous on their date!)

This has been my sole “non-oc” entry so far… Perhaps, it shall remain the sole entry for the rest of the month…

Bugtober Day 11: Abandoned 👻
—————————
I drew my ghost oc, Fillay (pronounced “Fillet”)!

A short description that I had written for her, a long time ago:

“A ghostlike maiden, who wanders the docks of overfished seas. In the quietest hour of the night, when the ocean is calm and still, she reads her solemn poems aloud to the fish who have suffocated on the shore, and the sharks who have had their fins taken.”

Character design is by HIRUGAO!

Bugtober Day 10: Monster 👀✨
—————————
I used today’s prompt to create my creature design for Dippy’s contest!

😼😼✨ I had lots of fun drawing something spooky again! I imagined this to be a… last resort for Eudaemonia when she wants to scare a couple of the mortal folk…

I hope you enjoy it, Dippington! 😆🫶♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

Bugtober Day 9: Dress-Up 👑
—————————
I drew a scene between GÜL, a talented makeup artist, and Rellevoir, the beloved vampire idol! ♥️♥️♥️

Though they may appear to be young and unassuming to some, these two are very inspiring figures within the undead community! ✨✨✨ It looks like an upcoming live may be in order, for those two…!

Both character designs are by ZVNO7!

A side note… My artworks have been taking longer to draw recently, so I may scale back on the detail of my drawings for future artworks… 🥹 I should have anticipated this, however! Character designs are hardly quick work! ✨

Bugtober Day 8: Flying 🪽
—————————
Even the daily commute in the sky can grow quite monotonous…

With an abundance of excess time, it is not unreasonable to study up, in the slower hours! But, what exactly is Angelique reading…? 👀

This artwork took so long to complete, because I had redone the lineart so many times… Learning to draw new designs can be quite tough!

Character design is by Rossekku!

Bugtober Day 7: Mammal as an Insect! 🪲
—————————
Today’s theme was much more specific than the previous one! I decided to draw my little fellow, Límon, observing himself as a metallic shield bug! ♥️

I chose him for this prompt, because his color palette seemed absolutely perfect for a little bug!

🥹♥️♥️♥️ I’ve wanted to draw this character design for a while, and I’m so glad that I had this opportunity to do so! I need to practice drawing animal characters more often…

Bugtober Day 6: Snack! 🍨
—————————
A sweet and scrumptious treat… featuring some of my characters! 🥹

I used to ponder the logistics of food accessories in hair, for original character designs… I would ask myself… “Would they ever spoil?” “Are the accessories heavy?” “Can a spilling beverage truly work as an accessory?”

…Now, I do not question it! 😆♥️♥️♥️♥️ Perhaps, simply being cute and memorable is enough!!!

I definitely want to try making a food-themed character design sometime! ✨

Both character designs are by Errorsizo!
