Long pose from Kline academy last night after class. I always roll in late so I really only get maybe 1.5 hours of actual drawing time, but that's ok, it's not like I can ditch class early 🙃.
Super lovely to draw model @monikanelle again after so many years!

If you happen to be going to @lightboxexpo this year, be sure to say hi to me and @kiaartmodel on Friday!! We'll be talkin' expressive figure drawing!! by @aprilconnors

Some drawings/demos/notes from the first day back at UCLA, plus a long pose from Kline after class. I was pretty tired by the time I got to Kline lol, so the values are trash but at least I managed to stay awake long enough to put something, anything on paper haha. by @aprilconnors

Hey y'all, kinda short notice but we've got the second to last comics creator class tomorrow! Come learn about lettering and the fundamentals of graphic design. Tbh this one is one of the MOST important classes of the whole 6 class series, and imo one of the most challenging concepts.

Long pose drawing from sunday night after teaching 6 hour classes all weekend. I was literally falling asleep while drawing haha, but I managed to sketch something at least. Included the warm up because I like to remind everyone that it's always a good idea to warm up before working. You wouldn't lift weights without a proper warm up would you???

Day 2 of my figure drawing bootcamp is happening this Saturday! Drop in rate available, check the sign up link in bio! Next saturday is our 3rd and final day, and we'll have shadia back for long pose!

You can stay after class to hang out in downtown pomona as well, since pomona art walk starts at 5!
