On the last Tuesday of each month, join Psychedelic Salon creator and host @aprilpridecreates for a monthly Psychedelic Integration Circle at The Cloud Room.  This informal gathering in an intimate setting allows Psychedelic Salon attendees to get to know one another, share & witness, and ask questions of facilitators, relevant experts, and peers with open and curious minds. The format is 30 minutes at the front and back for socializing, and an hour of collaborative conversation facilitated by April.  Free of charge. Open to everyone. No-host bar with several mocktail options. Interested in the Psychedelic Salon? Check it out at @townhall_seattle every second Thursday at 7:30pm. by @aprilpridecreates
💡 CLOUD ROOM MEMBER SPOTLIGHT: APRIL PRIDE @aprilpride_ has been a member at @cloudroomseattle on and off since 2015 when she launched her first cannabis company, @vanderpop, which the world’s largest cannabis company acquired in 2018.  As a brand creator, podcast host, and psychedelic curator, April Pride has spent her career obsessing over the lived experience co-created through her work. After graduating with a Masters from Parsons, her creative career in Seattle began in interior design before she started designing products, brands and experiences in the emerging markets of cannabis and psychedelics for women ages 40-60.  Today, April hosts Psychedelic Salon, which started in the Cloud Room lounge in 2023 and begins its third season at Town Hall Seattle in October 2026. Alongside her podcast and Substack, she hosts Women in the Wild, an intimate monthly gathering for women curious about psychedelics at her Capitol Hill home. April has been recognized by Vice, Forbes, and The Guardian, and named to High Times’ “Female 50.” We are proud to have April as part of the Cloud Room community and are excited to share more stories from the people who make this place what it is. The recovery protocol of a MDM@-using couple ages 70+ Water throughout the day. 100 to 200 milligrams of 5-HTP the following night, not the same night, to help replenish serotonin. More sleep than usual: at age 76 @cjwininger needs 10 to 12 hours Mostly, be gentle with yourself for a few days afterward. Integration starts with sleep, not insight, no matter how profound the experience was. On a panel about MDM@ and aging, @cjwininger shared that what stayed with him wasn’t the high but the connection. a whole other layer of fullness and joy inside a decades-long marriage. repeated four to six times a year like a practice rather than an occasional escape. MDM@ + Your Pharma Meds The Silver Tsunami is stacking meds: 89 percent of people over 65 are on a prescription drug. Over half of those are on four or more. Any conversation about psychedelics and this population will almost always include a med check. A terminal diagnosis brings its own kind of suffering — not just physical, but psycho-spiritual and existential. November 12th’s Psych3d3lic Salon looks at the evidence now supporting what many practitioners have long suspected: that psych3d3lics can meaningfully ease that suffering, helping people move through anticipatory grief, fear, and isolation toward something closer to peace. Join me with Christine Caldwell, founder of @end_of_life_psychedelic_care, and @laurasullivancassidy, death doula and @recomposelife grief coach, for a conversation about what it looks like to be truly accompanied at the end of life — one practitioner working at the frontier of k3tam!ne-assisted care, the other walking alongside families through the transitions that follow a terminal diagnosis. Thursday, November 12th · 7:30 PM 📍 @townhall_seattle + livestream 🎟️ Tickets start at $10 → Get tickets at LINK IN BIO Doors at 6:30. See you there! by @aprilpridecreates
MDM@ & Grief What healed her wasn’t MDM@ alone. it was the power of combining it with community support. In a safe space, her capacity to be with her grief emerged, and as Shelley opened her eyes, her capacity to feel the love of the room had, too, expanded. MDM@ & Psych Meds If you’re on an SNRI and considering MDM@, never supersede the advice of your prescribing professional. If you’re going to taper off in time for an experience, do it with your doctor involved, not around them, no matter how tempting the shortcut looks. Once there’s FDA approval, this entire conversation moves from underground guesswork to an actual appointment. We’re not there yet, but it’s coming. If ps1locyb1n helps people facing a terminal cancer diagnosis find peace with mortality, @abbieros wondered while reading the research, don’t we all have a terminal diagnosis eventually, just on a longer, less certain timeline? Why wait until death’s door to access that peace? That was her theory, and she went looking to see if it held up. It did. A whole population of people in their 50s, 60s, 70s, and 80s were already living it, so she wrote a book documenting it. What are you waiting for permission to start early? MDM@ for Grief 😢 For guidance, the @maps__org protocol is available online. and for integration following a session, there are questions that you can work with: 1) What did this grief want me to feel? 2) What have I been carrying alone? 3) What does this loss still ask of me? 4) What becomes possible if I stop treating the feeling like a problem? A suggestion is to review these questions before then they might float in at some point during the experience. Revisit them in the days, weeks and months after. featured speaker at this @townhall_seattle Psych3d3lic Salon @sunil1007 of @aimsinstituteseattle LINK IN BIO: Full episode #135 on YouTube @aprilpridecreates and wherever you listen to podcasts LINK IN BIO: TICKETS TO Psych3d3lic Salon - End of Life Care @townhall_seattle Nov 12 #endoflife #endoflifecare #seattle by @aprilpridecreates
@abbieros : [Clinical trials with p$!locyb!n for end-of-life distress show that this medicine supports something specific, and it’s not what most people assume. Participants reported the experience shifted how people relate to fear, identity, and mortality. Rather than escaping these emotions, they found an increased capacity to hold them without being completely overwhelmed by them. My hope, as I age, is for more room to hold what’s true without rushing to resolve it first, or needing a tidy conclusion before I’m allowed to move on.] LINK IN BIO: Full episode #116 on YouTube @aprilpridecreates and wherever you listen to podcasts LINK IN BIO: TICKETS TO Psych3d3lic Salon - End of Life Care @townhall_seattle Nov 12 by @aprilpridecreates
@sunil1007 of @aimsinstituteseattle: “There’s an ancient Greek proverb that says, ‘If you die before you die then you won’t die when you die.’ Something like that about having an experience where you have a death of your egoic structure, you’re not really dying. but you have a feeling wow it all melted away and then you’re back. Then the idea is when you do die, you actually do lose the body, lose your heartbeat, you’ve had a trial run. You’ve been trying it all your life. You’ve had process of letting go and that seems to be a very useful thing. And I think for grief if we’re talking about people who’ve died to have an experience that was like what your loved one might have had when they died that might help you feel closer in some way.” LINK IN BIO: Full episode #135 on YouTube @aprilpridecreates LINK IN BIO: TICKETS TO Psych3d3lic Salon - End of Life Care @townhall_seattle Nov 12 by @aprilpridecreates
