it is everything I wished someone had shared with me when I first gave birth 10 yrs again. and everything I learned last year before I free birthed my son in the middle of the jungle.

so many women are filled with fear as they enter one of the most expansive, intuitive, powerful, beautiful times of their lives.

i was that woman too.

i was 21 and so scared.

i wrote the guide that my 21-year-old self wishes she’d had.

it’s everything i learned and practiced before i gave birth to liam — my jungle free birth — and everything i wish i had understood about preparing not just my mind for birth, but the body that was actually going to birth.

this guide goes deeply into nervous system preparation, fear, the trauma body, protective patterns, the art of surrendering, sacred sexuality, opening, and so much more.

yes, it possible to walk into birth with more safety. more trust. more connection. more excitement for what their body is about to move through.

and i share so many vulnerable pieces of my own journey inside these pages, because i truly believe we can only take other humans as deep as we’ve been willing to go ourselves.

my prayer is that this guide finds the exact women it needs to find.

our postpartum (@jessehansonphd ) brought so much to the surface for us. we are firm believers that the inner work is never fully “done”. and when you let it, a massive season like this can and will bring things to surface.

everything gets rearranged as you make space to guide new life through. both within yourself and your relational dynamics.

here’s what our postpartum has taught us:

if you love one another & you’re both willing to do your inner work, it’s worth leaning in.

it’s worth the work.

it’s worth staying for.

and it’s the deepest initiation you’ll ever go through. learn to embrace it 🌊

i will be opening up TWO, 1:1 containers for the mama or dad who is looking to integrate their birth experience, needing support in postpartum, or wanting to plan for this phase.

deep in nature, next to the river ( the OG sound machine), in mamas arms (the OG mamaroo), & she stayed fit cause she held, bounced, and swayed her baby into his dream space. 🪄

god gave us everything we need. stop over complicating it mama!

if we used our bodies in the way God designed them, we wouldn’t have to stress so much about “working out”.

we’d also save a lot of time, money and effort of mordern “sleep” hacks.

our ancestors knew how to do it. go back and study their ways of BEING.

we’ve been taught to prepare for birth by learning everything that could happen to us.

but how much time do we spend learning how to actually be in our bodies?

how to recognize when we’re bracing.
how to soften when we feel the urge to control.
how to listen to the quiet voice within us beneath the noise of everyone else’s opinions.

because this work extends far beyond birth.

it’s about reclaiming a relationship with ourselves that many of us were never taught to have.

and no, this doesn’t mean doing it all alone or rejecting medical care. it means learning to trust ourselves enough to ask questions, make informed choices, and know when we need support.

this is the heart of my work as a traditional midwife and somatic practitioner.

not to promise you a particular birth, but to help you build a deeper relationship with the body you’ll bring into it.

because you deserve more than knowing how birth works.

you deserve to feel connected to the woman experiencing it.

and that relationship? it begins long before labor. 🤎

and nothing contracts it like fear/control/old patterns that are still living in the body.
