This is my best friend. And today is her birthday ♥️
People who don’t have sisters have a much less exciting life. Having a sister is like having a second part of your soul. She understand you. She empathizes with you. She will both hug you and chase you around with a butcher knife. She will burry a body for you and also bail you out of jail. She’s my best friend in life and for life.

It’s way too early… but Avery, my senior and Erik, my freshman are off to high school. We will get some sunny pics later today. Technically Erik started yesterday and Avery started college classes 2 weeks ago, but today is the first day together. I’m not sure how it happened. Yesterday was kindergarten for each of them 😭 by @apryl_mn

Summer hockey is all done and they finished it 4-0 winning the championship! Some of the boys are going to different schools this coming season so this tourney was bitter sweet 🏒 🥅 by @apryl_mn

Everyone tells you “it’ll be over before you know it”, but that time came faster than expected…I’ve watched Erik grow into this sport that can sometimes be so unforgiving. I love seeing the solid friendships he’s made. Lifetime friendships. These boys deserved a title this year but sadly it didn’t happen. But I don’t doubt each and every young man will have so much success in the future. To the baseball families, thank you for being you. To the fans, you’re the best. Every Coach, thank you for building these young men. And to the boys, thank you for being a solid group of young men and caring about my kid as much as he cares about each one of you. by @apryl_mn

I am admittedly the biggest Harry Potter NERD. I purchased these tickets last summer! And FINALLY we got to go, and I have to say… that was the most amazing show I’ve ever seen! The lights, the effects, the acting, the set and the magic were unlike anything I’ve ever seen! My HP ⚡️heart is full 🧙‍♀️ taken in Hennepin Arts Orpheum Theatre by @apryl_mn

Until next year! Florida was a much needed break from reality… a time to reset and relax. Golfing, swimming, tanning, burning (reapply that SPF people), dinners, shopping, laughing, and relaxing was had by all! by @apryl_mn
