10yrs ago I would’ve said there isnt a worse combo than black & brown (or red & pink) But fashion changes along with how we perceive colors as matching or unmatching in different time periods and now I love both of these combinations.

The perception of color combinations has recently been really intriguing to me. How is that possible? My conclusion has been it depends on what shades are trening at the specific time.

Sometimes the most popular shade of red - let’s say a bright tomato, just wont match with the most popular shade of pink - like a neon pink. In a different season we’ll have a strawberry red and baby pink and all of a sudden they will go so great together.

Brown & black is a bit of a different case tho. Brown has become the new black and we perceive it as a base color that can go with anything. Maybe we just got bored by black?

Men’s blazers are just nicer 🤷🏼‍♀️
It’s just so much easier to find a good quality, well sewed blazer on the men’s department… and on top of that they’re usually cheaper…
