POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Still processing everything from birthday weekend, but this is something I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge.

This past Sunday, I had the opportunity to DJ for Purple Foundation...making me one of the first Black DJs to play a Purple Foundation event.

That means a lot to me.

Not because of a title or a milestone, but because representation matters and because I get to be part of helping expand what those spaces can look and sound like.

I’ve always believed music has the power to bring people together, and I love seeing our community continue to evolve. More voices. More perspectives. More sounds. More opportunities.

Thank you to Purple Foundation for the opportunity and to everyone who shared the dance floor with me. Moments like these remind me why I do this in the first place.

Birthday weekend was full of memories, but this one deserves its own post.

Onward. 🫶🏾✨ by @apthout
