We get a ton of questions about inside the waist band (IWB) carry of the LVAK, and we have dropped the ball as far as a tutorial. Hopefully this will address that issue for many of you.
1. You need your belt, at least two hook/loop wire ties, and the LVAK (And, pants...we guess)
2. Fold the hook portion of LVAK onto back side of LVAK body.
3. Position LVAK inside desired location of waistband.
4. Wrap the wire ties around belt at both ends of the LVAK position, insure hook is facing in towards body once wire ties are mounted around the belt.
5 fold wire ties over the top of waist band and LVAK attaching the hook of the wire ties to the body of the LVAK. *end user can ad more wire ties as desired just follow the same steps as the other two.

The HRP is our minimalist solution for securing ancillary items to your helmet such as remote battery packs for NODs, strobes, or dummy cording helmet borne night vision devices. If mounting to retain a battery pack use the included self adhesive loop panel to attach to the exposed portion of the battery pack, then you can either knot the included shock cord or use the included cord locks to secure the cord to the side rails of the helmet. If using it as retention for nods you can utilize the shock cord and the metal gated clips that come with the HRP. Retaining a helmet strobe is easily done by using the shock cord and one of the cord locks. The HRP also has two windowed cells for mini chem lights to create on demand cat eyes for IFF or visual confirmation of position of team mates in low light situations. The minimalist design of the Helmet Retention Panel keeps bulk/weight down with a sleek profile and providing the end user a multitool for retaining helmet born accessories. The number of ways the HRP can be used are limited only by the end users imagination, we don’t make one trick ponies here.

Everything you need in one compact kit. An AFAK mounted as a dangler with a FUPA kit on a micro rig and folded properly makes a compact bail out rig.

Take a moment to reflect on this day and the lives that were lost, the brave men and women that responded, the brave passengers who stormed the cockpit of a hijacked plane, and how we came together as a nation to support one another. We will never forget. by @aptusdesigngroup

Everyone has an origin story, ours is the LVAK (Low Visibility Aid Kit). Aptus Design Group wasn’t the end goal when the LVAK was designed. It was a one off made by the founder of Aptus for personal use. Designed to carry a full IFAK discreetly while on duty. As a federal agent and tactical medic he wasn’t happy with the options available for carrying medical. Everything was either too bulky, didn’t carry enough, or was too uncomfortable for long term wear. The LVAK was his answer. Designed to be worn as an ankle kit or inside the waist band for concealability regardless of attire and configured to carry interventions based on TCCC guidelines without compromise on contents. The versatility and novel design of the LVAK is unmatched by other options on the market.

The Mini-chem Dispenser Pouch (McDP) is a small pouch that delivers big. Capable of carrying 100 mini chems in a pouch that is roughly the size of a travel size bar of soap while taking up minimal real estate on your gear, it definitely fights above its weight class.

This is Vince’s Arm today from the TQ video shot yesterday. The proper application of a TQ is often painful, so much so that there are real world instances of people removing TQ’s and bleeding out because the TQ was so painful. During training you should be tightening the TQ to occlusion, meaning no pulse distal to the TQ. If you aren’t doing this in training and not making sure your students are doing this in training you are doing them and yourself a disservice. You can always back it off once you confirm proper placement and application. Proper application of life saving interventions is as important as proper application of lethal force. The failure to do both properly end in the same result.
