PHILANTHROPY EVENT!

This past Saturday, the Anthemios Chapter spent the morning at CATSNAP for I-Help, UIUC’s campus-wide day of service. Thank you to CATSNAP for having us. It was a pleasure working with your team, and we’re grateful for the work you do for animals in Champaign-Urbana!

Sincerely,
Alpha Rho Chi

PIE-A-CHI RECAP VIDEO!

The Brothers of Alpha Rho Chi would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who supported our Pie-a-Chi fundraiser this semester!

Whether you bought a pie, threw one, took one to the face, or cheered from the sidelines, you helped make it one of our best events yet. We had a great time out on the Quad, and every pie went towards our chapter.

Stay tuned for more APX events this year!

Sincerely,
Alpha Rho Chi

Happy Homecoming, Illini!

This weekend, the Anthemios house welcomed back some of the brothers who once called it home. Long before any of us moved in, they were the ones living in these rooms, climbing these stairs after late nights in studio, and filling this home.
Walking through the house with them was like getting a tour of a place we thought we already knew. They pointed out which rooms were theirs, told us what has changed and what hasn’t, and shared stories from their years here.

It means a lot to know that the house we live in now has been home to so many brothers before us, and that years later it still feels like theirs too. We’re proud to be looking after it for the next generation.
To every alum who made the trip back: thank you for coming home, and for everything you did to keep this chapter and this house standing for us.

Once Anthemios, always Anthemios.

Sincerely,
Alpha Rho Chi

ABROAD TAKEOVER POST!

This week we’re checking in with Brother Lana Lomalie, a third-year architecture student spending the year in Barcelona!
Lana is part of the Illinois School of Architecture’s Barcelona Program, the school’s flagship study abroad experience, open to junior and senior architecture students. Based in Sant Cugat del Vallès, just outside the city, students take the same studio and coursework they would in Champaign, taught in English by Illinois faculty, while experiencing the architecture of Europe firsthand.
From cliffside weekends on the Costa Brava to the friendships made along the way, Lana is sharing her favorite moments, what she misses from home, and her advice for anyone thinking about going abroad.
Her biggest takeaway? Don’t be discouraged. Take the leap of faith and go for it.
Swipe through to hear from Lana! We miss you, and can’t wait to have you back in Champaign!

Last week, our Worthy Architect, Dennis Klementiev, traveled to Tempe, Arizona to represent the Anthemios Chapter at the Alpha Rho Chi Leadership Conference.

The conference brought together members from chapters nationwide for sessions on leadership, chapter development, and professional growth in architecture.

We are proud to have had him represent Anthemios, and we thank the conference organizers and every chapter in attendance for an inspiring weekend.

Thank you! @alpharhochi

Sincerely, Anthemios Chapter
