Alhamdulilah, we are just days away from our annual fall Fundraiser for @rawdah_islamiccenter with our keynote speaker Imam @aqilingram alhamdulilah supporting the house of Allah is such a noble effort and will be rewarded many times over, in this life as well as the next. Support Rawdah Islamic Center of Delaware as we continue to serve the community and provide quality Islamic services (in the broadest sense). The fundraiser will be this Saturday September 26th at the Masjid 18 Shea Way (Unit 8-9) Newark, De. Vendors will be setting up after Thuhr so come out and shop with the vendors and the event will start at 6pm. If you have any Islamic books you would like to donate to our library please bring them and donate them. For every person who reads these books the reward will be shared between the donator and the reader. Masha Allah. If you can’t make it out Sat, please leave a donation or purchase a plate for someone and we will give it away on your behalf. You can donate by using

Lying in bed.
Scrolling.
Waiting.
Hoping.

SHOULD BE:

Getting up.
Moving.
Traveling.
Seeking.

---

CONTRADICTION:

"I want knowledge"
"I won't move"

"I respect Muqbil"
"I'm ignoring his warning"

"I'm a student"
"I wait passively"

BRAIN: BREAKING

You can't hold both:

"I seek" AND "I recline"
"I want growth" AND "I choose comfort"

---

ANCIENT WAY:

Traveled.
Sacrificed.
Moved.
Endured.

Knowledge doesn't COME.

You must GO.

Comfortable.
Passive.
Waiting.
Reclining.

DAY 1: Absorbed

DAY 2: Fading

DAY 3: GONE

DAY 4: What was it?

COMPLETELY FORGOTTEN.

YOU KNOW THIS.

You've experienced it.

Yet you KEEP doing it.

THE CONTRADICTION:

You SAY: "I want knowledge"
You DO: "I'm destroying it"

You SAY: "I respect scholars"
You DO: "I'm rejecting their way"

You SAY: "I care about retention"
You DO: "I'm guaranteed to forget"

YOUR BRAIN IS BREAKING:

This dissonance.

This tension.

It's destroying you.

ARABIC:
لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنْتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ

TRANSLITERATION:
"La ilaha illa anta subhanaka inni kuntu min adh-dhalimin"

ENGLISH:
"There is none worthy except You. Glory be to You. I have been amongst the wrongdoers"
