Such a simple but powerful interaction Greg @sinhuesog and I had the chance of experiencing with this man here. A local tobacco farmer handling and sorting his tobacco leaves. He was unfortunately hard of hearing, and his vision wasn’t the best. It was just enough for us to get his permission to take a couple of photos of him in action for the documentary, and capture his beautiful smile ❤️

There’s something so pure and innocent when looking straight into a child’s eyes and smile. It always brings me back to one of my core missions: “Seeing life from Richie’s eyes when he was a kid” because it truly was the purest form to see it from. You didn’t care about what people thought of you, you’d admire the most simplest things life had to offer, and all you wanted to do was laugh, have fun and feel loved ❤️

A little reminder that some of the hardest and most essential workers in the world are often overlooked. Farmers are the reason we eat everyday. Farmers are also the reason we have food constantly restocked in supermarkets. They deserve their spotlight more than anyone ❤️
