A week in London, two screenings, and conversations we’ll carry with us. @britishfilminstitute Flare 2026 will be a milestone for Room 206 and for us. London, here we come!

We are so honored to announce that « Room 206 » is part of this year’s @britishfilminstitute Flare selection.
I can’t find the words to describe how excited and happy I am so, I thought these images of @clairfaravarjoo were pretty accurate.

Thank you BFI for bringing this story and these memories to light. They are so precious to our hearts. I can’t wait to come and discover this wonderful place.

There will be two screenings:
Friday, 27 March at 3:20pm
Saturday, 28 March at 1:40pm
BFI Southbank NFT1 then NFT3, shorts programme “Having the Last Laugh”

Fun fact: in this reel, the lyrics to this song composed by @davidenfrein were written and performed by @clairfaravarjoo, who is also a talented musician.

Cela fait un mois tout juste que je terminai la post-production de mon film « Chambre 206 ». J’ai eu la chance de m’entourer de personnes fabuleuses puisque j’ai collaboré avec @davidenfrein pour la musique originale, puis avec Jérémie Pouchard pour l’étalonnage, pour finir avec @antonin_dalmasso en montage, mixage son et enfin @dalvydesign en graphisme.

Je n’exprimerai jamais assez de mercis au @fifib33, à la @region_nouvelle_aquitaine, à @mokinette et au jury (qui se reconnaîtra) de nous avoir aidé à finir cette post-production en beauté, mais aussi à @ar.padel et @robinbensa d’être d’un aussi précieux soutien.

Il me tarde de dévoiler ce film au grand jour.

Il s’agirait probablement d’écrire une légende aseptisée comme on le fait généralement pour ce type d’annonce mais j’en suis incapable.
Il s’en est passé des choses autour de ce documentaire, photographique d’abord, mais je n’ai jamais osé rêver qu’on m’offre cette chance là pour mon film.

“Chambre 206” est le court-métrage documentaire que j’ai tourné dans ces chambres, la mienne et celle de la clinique, aux côtés de Clair. Après le tournage, les rushs m’avaient dans un premier temps échappés et après des mois de bataille pour les récupérer, ils étaient revenus dans mes mains par magie, sains et saufs. Comme un premier miracle.
Le second est apparu ce week-end quand j’ai appris qu’Arnaud, Clair et moi faisions parti des lauréat.e.s du Nouvelle-Aquitaine Film Workout, un dispositif qui nous soutiendra pour la post-production du film.
Cette annonce là m’informe qu’on nous donne les moyens de finir le film dans de meilleures conditions, mais elle signifie surtout que ce que j’ai vu, ce que j’ai senti, ces jours inoubliables avec mon ami magnifique, touchent aussi bien les autres que moi. Et c’est le plus beau des cadeaux qu’on puisse me faire.

Il me tarde de terminer ce film et de vous le montrer.
