✨Countdown to the Crown day 6: Why pageants?✨

*featuring a picture of little Tay*

I love the community pageants have given me. I’ve had the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people and made some of my most valued friendships.

I’ve also grown so much through pageants. Before I started competing, I was so shy and had very little confidence in myself. Through pageants I’ve learned how to express myself and be confident in who I am.

I also love the community service aspect of pageants. I’ve had so many opportunities to serve in my community, and to really give back to those who need it. I love being able to advocate for the things I believe in, and getting to talk to kids about the importance of literacy! by @ar.universaljuniormiss

✨Countdown to the Crown Day 7: UM Service Day✨

Since my platform is all about literacy, I had the chance to donate a ton of books to 3 different Little Free Libraries near me!

Little Free Library is a nonprofit with a goal to expand book access all over the world. Volunteers build Little Free Libraries, and anyone can take a book or share a book from it! If you haven’t checked them out, I highly recommended finding a Little Free Library near you!

I’ve loved getting to travel all over Arkansas representing UM. It’s safe to say my sash has seen everything from classrooms to basketball games and everything in between!
