Bts Textile creation

Felted Corset • made of silk and wool
Felted Skirt • made of silk and wool . Finishing to a woollen knitted fabric with a wire giving it shape
Needle felted flower Brooch •
Heart-shaped Platforms • (second hand from an Indonesian artisan) with silk felted straps

Final degree collection

All the fabrics in this collection have been created by hand from scratch, starting with a small lock of wool as raw material. This wool was then processed using various techniques, to transform it into the final fabrics, that were then used to make the garments.

Felt is the main material in this collection, being the base material for most of the pieces. However, a multitude of other materials are also used such as silk, linen, wool knit, taffeta, silk gauze, cotton and even vintage leather in some accessories. There are also many textile details including vegetable fibres such as Tencel™ Lyocell fibre and viscose, mulberry silk fibres, sparkly fibers and hand-dyed natural wool curls. by @ara__nea
