Before the lights, the noise, and the biggest stage in basketball, there was Ali and Jalen. Two people who have known each other through so many versions of life, from the halls of their high school to this chapter as husband and wife. In “The Big Apple” or anywhere you call home, everyone deserves food security. 🍎For the 2026 Gotham Ball hosted by @foodbank4nyc, whose mission is to combat food insecurity, we created an immersive experience centered around what became known as “The Giving Tree.”Designed to spark conversation and create meaningful engagement, guests “picked” an apple from the tree, with each selection representing a pledge contribution to FoodBank.
