Awesome to spend another hour with Jack Bowes! 👊

Great to keep working together and exploring how Arakan concepts can translate into footy.

One more week of training together! 🔴⚫️

Let’s go, Bombers! 💪

Today I had the opportunity to work with Jack Bowes on some Arakan concepts that can translate directly into his AFL game.

We worked on yielding, changing heights and striking — developing the ability to stay balanced, manage pressure, create movement and respond effectively when an opponent disrupts your position.

For me, this is where Arakan gets really interesting for athletes.

It’s not about teaching an AFL player how to fight.

It’s about giving them another way to understand movement, pressure, balance, timing and physical control and then finding ways to apply those principles to their sport.

Jack has just made the move to the Essendon Bombers, so I’m excited to see how these concepts can complement the physical and technical work he already does at an elite level.

Thanks Jack. Great lesson today. Look forward to a few more weeks together.

Power. Focus. Confidence.
