adventure rigging has always been the goal in my aerial practice. I’ve been rigging off trees from the start, but it wasn’t until last August, when I rigged off a highline for the first time, that I realized how big we could dream. this cave setup surpassed anything I’d imagined. thanks to the vision of @stella.the.giant and @auraten, the expertise of caver extraordinaire, Elliott, and the beautiful footage from @mariel_illuminated
I am so lucky to be able to experience the world with these people, in these ways.

a few shots from this past week at the #fruitbowl

i am forever grateful to be able to witness and join in with some of my dearest ladies in these epic pursuits. many humbling and empowering moments out here, in a landscape so vast it is difficult to comprehend.

There’s a feeling of uncanniness that comes with aerials at height. Obviously there is training that goes in to these moments, and all safety mechanisms are in place. Even so, I find myself suspended, without any of my usual anchors (like the ground), improvising in new physical and affective territory.

big thanks to the folks from @slackmn and all the other highliners who provided the lines, so much stoke, and all the good community feels 💜

a second post from this flow because it’s world circus day! this art form has been an anchor in my life for over a decade now. More than that, it has led to so many moments of connection with beautiful landscapes and beautiful humans 🫶🏼
