🎨✨ This weekend, Dionne Victoria and Andre Brown proudly represented The Art Center of Englewood at the Beverly Arts Walk!
It was an inspiring day surrounded by creativity, culture, and community. 💖 We loved connecting with fellow artists and neighbors, sharing our vision, and celebrating the power of art to build legacies and transform communities.

The ACE Artist Apprentice Program is in full swing — and our artist apprentices showed up ready to grow, lead, and CREATE. 💥🎨

This week we:
🤝 Built community
🧠 Set powerful intentions
🎭 Explored identity through art
🖌️ Learned foundational studio practices
💬 Shared personal stories that will fuel our summer work

From team-building to artist-led sessions, these young creatives are laying the groundwork for a transformative summer. 💪🏾🧑🏽‍🎨🖤

🌟 Meet Andre Brown & Dionne Victoria, the dynamic duo behind the Art Center of Englewood! 🌟

🎨 Andre Brown: A proud native of Clarksdale, MS, Andre is an artist, programmer, and comedian with a passion for inspiring the next generation. He’s the Global Director of Robots and Tots for The CEO Superheroes, where he teaches kids how to build and code robots! With a degree in computer information systems and experience as a fellow in the field, Andre is shaping young minds through creativity and tech. He’s also a devoted father to Mason and Cadi, and life partner to the incredible Dionne Victoria.

🎭 Dionne Victoria: An acclaimed artist whose works have been exhibited in places like the United States Congress Library and the Museum of Science and Industry, Dionne is also an educator, curator, and community advocate. She’s taught in Chicago, other states, and even South Korea, blending art with science to engage and empower students. As the president of the Healing Academy, Dionne is committed to arts and education-based initiatives. She holds a Masters in Teaching from the University of Chicago and is an alum of the Chicago Artist Coalition’s Field/WORK residency.

Together, Andre and Dionne are dedicated to transforming the Englewood community through art, education, and innovation. Through the Art Center of Englewood, they’re providing a space for creative expression, fostering learning, and making an impact in their neighborhood and beyond.

This Black History Month, we’re honored to celebrate a trailblazer whose vision and passion are transforming the heart of Englewood. Sister Dionne Victoria, a charter member of the Kappa Chapter of @gammaxiphi, has officially opened the doors to the Arts Center of Englewood—a beacon for creativity, community, and cultural empowerment.

As the founder of a thriving non-profit @wehealheal CEO of her own art business, and now the founder of the Arts Center of Englewood, @aceincchi she embodies the spirit of innovation and resilience.
