Happy to share that in May I graduated from Pratt Institute School of Architecture as a recipient of the Outstanding Merit Award. Following graduation, I will be working as an Architectural Designer in New York.

많이 보고 많이 배우고 많이 느꼈습니다.
재미있는 프로젝트하는 건축가 되겠습니다.

This project started from a simple curiosity about dogs’ sleeping postures. After analyzing the sleeping positions of small to mid sized dogs and consulting with veterinarians, we developed a detachable latex mattress that can be replaced independently of the frame.

This project transforms Istanbul’s Haydarpaşa Train Station into a hydrological conduit, unearthing the city’s buried natural history. Once a hub for mechanical transit, the station is reimagined with a Muqarnas shell that functions as a harvesting skin for rainwater. Collected water cascades through a visible network of conduits traversing the architectural volume, eventually accumulating in massive subterranean cisterns. The museum serves simultaneously as a research laboratory and a gallery of the hydrological cycle, showcasing the interplay between human intervention and natural processes.

This infrastructure transcends passive storage; it acts as an active ecological machine, revitalizing the site’s historical, vanished riverbed through daylighting. As a living archive of urban metabolism, the museum breathes life into the city’s water systems. By reconnecting forgotten ecological lineages through historical resource management, the project proposes a resilient and sustainable urban future. taken in Pratt Institute School of Architecture by @arc_museum

"A collage is a document that fixes a thought in a place, but it fixes it in a vague way, deformed and deformable; it fixes a reality in order to be able to work with it. When we turn a pocket inside out, the objects fall and we gather them" E. Miralles taken in Pratt Institute School of Architecture by @arc_museum

Collaborating with others is always such an exciting experience.🫶

Although we didn’t really focus on materials in class this semester, I kept getting this profound sense of space while working in Rhino, and I really wanted to capture that. Paradoxically, the lack of materials actually pushed me to dive into the world of monochrome architectural photography and drawings. I spent time researching the misty, atmospheric vibes of Hugh Ferriss, Julius Shulman’s iconic shot of Case Study House #22, the spatial depth and mood in Hélène Binet’s photos, and the clean structure of Ezra Stoller’s work. I was obsessed with how to translate that specific sense of space and atmosphere into my own renderings.

Along the way, I reached out to a super talented painter friend of mine, @q_______0 , and asked if he’d be down to charcoal-render my project. He was totally on board, and I’m so stoked to be working with him. Huge shout out to @q_______0 for bringing this whole vision to life! taken in Pratt Institute School of Architecture by @arc_museum

Perfecting the toolpath and showing our work at the @prattresearch Open House: Hyperstitch explores crochet-based fabrication as a method for creating dynamic, climate-adaptive and self-supporting architectural forms by crocheting with a robotic arm. The aims of the project are: -Examine the nimble performance of soft structures and their ability to rebound from deformation without breaking; and -Set up a workflow for rigorous experimentation of robotic crochet fabrication, as well as its quantitative and qualitative assessments.
