Congratulations to Jinseok Lim who successfully passed his dissertation proposal, "The Effects of Acute Fatigue on Running Biomechanics in Runners with a History of Tibial Stress Fracture." His work examines how acute fatigue alters running mechanics in runners with a prior tibial stress fracture, with the goal of informing safer return-to-run and injury prevention strategies. Jinseok is advised by Dr. Therese Johnston, with committee members Dr. Jun Ming Liu, Dr. Weihong Ni, and Dr. Clare Milner (Drexel University). by @arcadiaunivpt

AU DPT offers free physical therapy evaluations and treatments to individuals who may have difficulty accessing a traditional physical therapy clinic or attending our in-person Pro Bono Clinic regularly.

Spots are limited! If our July 18th Hybrid Pro Bono Clinic reaches capacity, we are happy to add interested individuals to our waitlist. We are also accepting sign-ups for our December 10th Hybrid Pro Bono Clinic, so there's still an opportunity to receive services even if July fills up. Please see the attached flyer for more information.

If you know someone who may benefit from this service, please feel free to share this information with them. We'd be happy to answer any questions and provide support. Transportation reimbursement is also available for those who need assistance. by @arcadiaunivpt

Below is a message from one of our Global Health Elective partners:

"Hillside is wrapping up another successful four week block for 2026. We continue to be grateful for students, programs and volunteers who support the Hillside mission: bringing access to free health care to the people of Southern Belize.

As you know, Hillside fills the PT Preceptor role by recruiting "long-term" volunteers who commit to staying at least 6 months or longer. We currently have a model that has two long-term volunteers here on a rotating basis. Given this model, we are constantly recruiting for our next volunteer!"
