I like the metaphor that each one of us carries a story; each person is a book.
Some have longer stories, others shorter ones.
Some are difficult to read, while others are easier to understand.
Some stories feel poetic, others are more technical.
Yet beneath those differences, if you pay close attention, you’ll find there’s a common theme that shapes every story: suffering.

It is not a matter of culture, ethnicity, or race; it is universal.
Every story, every heart, holds something broken: tears, wounds, unfinished chapters.
You might think it is a story of weakness and hopelessness.
But that story is not yet concluded; it remains to be redeemed.
Our story is the very place where God can be glorified.
How? By acknowledging Him as our only redeemer.
If stories can lead us to glorify God, then we must listen carefully to them and care for them.

Whether we are telling our story or
listening to someone else’s,
stories matter.

So, don’t waste your pain,
and don’t let others waste theirs.

Share stories—those that remind us of our need for a Savior and shape us into the people God has called us to be.

And this—this is what stays with me: to love by caring. by @arcarvajal

Esto es un poco de la misión en Cuba este año.
Es asombroso contemplar la hermosura de esta isla, no solo en sus paisajes sino también en nuestros hermanos apasionados por Cristo.
