Seeing Crete via 🐎 ( Ms. Naomi who was as much of a diva as she’s known to be) is the only way to explore the island. Also in tactical gear bc all my luggage was lost.
@unicorntrails has the best adventures and galloping through the terrain made me feel kid again and also acutely aware of how old my body feels after 6hrs in the saddle. by @arcecool

JUNE 2026:
I traveled the month of June to four countries- and all I got were these lousy food pics.
These were truly my top 20 bites.

Èze, St. Paul de Vence & Antibes:
My goal is to spend time in all the towns to figure out where I will buy a house one day. After all the most fun travel game is opening the local housing market app and picking the completely unattainable house you would want to buy and rip it apart.
But one day I do want the game to be real, and so I’m putting in the leg work to make my way through southern France to figure out where it should be.
It won’t be Eze I’ll tell ya that- but she’s pretty as hell. While people may say you should eat at Restaurant Chèvre D’or- I would say you do…but it’s an immaculate property and you should sneak on and walk about.
The cultural exploration of St. Paul really doesn’t miss, and you kinda do feel transported to a post war renaissance where truly silly art was being made and long lunches can be had in the heat. But don’t forget Antibes- which at first I was like eh, and then was like yep and now I’m back to Zillow being like this area not THAT area, but close to the market…
Seriously Antibes of course is for the rich and the famous and the 6-10k a night hotels, but it also has beautiful hidden beaches and World Cup on blast in town and a hint of grittiness to balance the beauty out.
Oh also you can get to Monaco on the train in 20 minutes to go gamble- yeah I said it.
1. Colombe d’Or-maybe one of the most perfect places on earth.
2. Cheese from the Antibbes market- there’s a guy, he has got the goods, you’ll know it when you see it.
3. Sophie Feu du Bois in Vence. Open fire major steaks.
4. Matching my tag to my shoes to my art.
5. La Môme Riviera- which was the perfect amount of Bougie beach club.
6. The colors of Nice always get me.
7. A perfect hearwave fish at Les Remparts.
8. An exceptional stay at Toille Blanche- it’s just gorgeous and remote and quiet and perfect, just don’t try to attempt room service.
9. Matisse Chapel
10. Cape d’Antibes Beach Hotel- funny mix of people- lotta rich eastern europeans

12. La Pescheria in the market in Antibes.. obviously this is tuna.

SIFNOS: The goal is to get to all the islands…but right now if I could only pick one it’s Sifnos.
One of the more rocky and mountainous terrains- the island of Sifnos actually has so many little pockets, you may not get to them all because you have to traverse all the windy ups and downs to get there. So if you’re going, get yourself a friend who loves to drive OR this guy- who will take you where you need to go all night long ( this is a major gift +30 697 236 5575).
If you like to swim, you can swim, if you like to eat the food is excellent, if you like to party- you can party all night.
It’s an island for friends and I do think you should have a few days minimum here, because you can also boat or island tour to Milos, Serifos, Kimilos etc…
I was having too much fun w the PICS @crum_pet & @philtoronto that I wasn’t long for the craziest pics on this leg but take my word. I LOVE this Island and I will come back again and again.

2. There are many delish places in Apollonia.. a classic zucchini or chicken pie while shopping is perfection.
3. Great rentals all along the island. We were promised wild goats, we didn’t get wild goats, but they were the soundtrack to our stay.
4. Dinner guest at NUS which is BOMB.

Honorary mentions- this island is known for its food. There is a lot of greatness all over which may or may not require booking a bit out. Don’t feel the need to do that if it’s not your vibe you will still do well.

SAN SEBASTIÁN & MADRID: Five days of eating in shades of red & pink.
Come drizzle or no clouds in the sky, these cities don’t stop.
I hadn’t been to San Sebastián since I was 17yrs old, and that trip entailed a backpack and many tiny beers in pintxos bars and frankly not a whole lot has changed except for the quantity of food consumed and a bit more money to spend on it.
Getting to travel with some OGs lead to many conversations about the best bites or who’s doing what best, but the take away from these towns is everything is about the products. So here are some of my favorite items/ingredients that just don’t taste like this at home. They can be simple straight out of the can, or entail 50yrs of perfecting- they are the life blood of the cuisine and our fuel for early onset gout. Lowkey it’s worth every bite.
1. Beef: A fucking lot of it. This one’s from Rekondo which has one of the most amazing cellars to pair.
2. Mohair blankets in Ezcare.
3. An absolutely perfect Sunday in town.
4. Tiny shrimps at Lanperna. Our real gem of the trip.
5. The queen Etxebari.
6. Tuna at Etxebari. 🤯
7. The remnants of our beef.
8. They’re funny here. For real tho, a must visit La Cuchara.
9. If you gotta work, make it apero.
10. The wine cellar at Rekondo…thought you should see that this is barely scratching the surface.
11. Tuna at Ganbara. Wow what a place.
12. Peppers. Get them everywhere
13. Anchovies- the most beloved from the producer Aqui Santona. Always ask for a side of butter.
14. You have to go to Bodega de la Ardosa not because it’s the best but because it’s the best.
15. Shop.
16. See art.
17. Eat more beef. Resturant SASHA
18. Caviar. The Spanish farm some. It’s mieh. We got our hands on some “Iranian Beluga”
19. The micro climate is its own ingredient
20. Ham. Duh.

Honorary mention: Clams, Beans, Olives and their oil but their colors didn’t match my theme. by @arcecool
