The debate for the ideal two-car solution has a new pair of contenders.

Here’s two new cars of mine: A 2017 ND1 Grand Touring Miata Fastback w/ 32k miles, and a
1989 E350 Econoline w/ 62k miles.

The Miata is wonderfully quick and agile, nearly identical to the NA, just with a much, much wider torque curve, more functional top, and an incredible interior.

The E350 is a few thousands pounds of iron combined into an anemic slug of a vehicle... if said slug had six seats, two beds, and a small second story. I honestly can’t decide which is more fun to cruise around in. by @arcfire15

$I did it, I finally did it. I added enough mechanical power and enough physical grip to this car, enough to snap straight through hardened steel. Enough to shatter the internals and subsequently seize the gears of my differential. Enough to fracture the seized differential’s input shaft, and enough to eject the driveline out of my transmission, onto the pavement of turn 1. Thank you to the GGLC for letting me spit a mixture of gear oil, ATF, and bearings across the course as we pushed the car back to the staging area. I love this car deeply, both the joy and the pain that comes with it. I am incredibly scared and excited to design my first custom rear end in the coming months. Also note: the Ford GT40 that ALSO blew an axle during its first lap. He was smart enough to bring his own trailer, though. by @arcfire15$
