After having my brows done years ago and seeing the confidence it gave me, I knew I wanted to help others feel the same way.

What started as a love for brows has grown into a passion for helping clients feel more confident through PMU, whether that’s brows or lip blush.

HAPPY 1 YEAR OF MY SAFE SPACE, ARCH & INK 🥹🤎

A whole year of learning, challenges, self-doubt and SO much joy… and I’m only just getting started! ✨

Building a business is HARDDDD, but building one alongside a job as cabin crew 👩‍✈️ makes it even harder sometimes. I have to remind myself that Rome wasn’t built in a day, even when I have a million goals I want to achieve. But one thing I do have is determination, and I know one day I’ll look back and think… Mum, I made it! 😅🤍

Thank you to every single person who has trusted me, booked in with me, shared my work, supported my little business and cheered me on along the way. And to the amazing artists I’ve met since starting my PMU journey, thank you for sharing your knowledge and helping me grow. 🫶🏼

I’ve learned SO much in this first year, and whilst there’s still so much I want to achieve, I’m proud of how far I’ve come already.

There are so many exciting things in the works and big plans for the future. Here’s to more transformations, more lessons, more confidence and so many more milestones to celebrate. 🥂✨

My client came to me wanting to bring colour and definition back to her lips.

Her natural lips were pale and uneven, with small remnants of previous lip blush still visible.

We opted for ombré lip blush to create a more defined appearance and that soft, diffused liner effect she loves wearing with makeup.

Unfortunately, my client experienced a cold sore outbreak during healing, which affected the pigment retention and left some areas lighter than others.

So, let’s talk about cold sores and lip blush, because this is something you NEED to know before your appointment. 👄

First things first: LIP BLUSH DOES NOT CAUSE COLD SORES.

Cold sores are caused by the herpes simplex virus (usually HSV-1). However, the trauma to the lips during a lip blush treatment can trigger an outbreak in someone who already carries the virus, even if they haven’t had a cold sore in years.

If an outbreak occurs during healing, it can interfere with the healing process and affect how well the pigment retains, potentially leaving you with lighter or patchier areas.

So, how can you reduce the risk?

If you’ve ever suffered from cold sores, even just once, please let me know before your appointment. I recommend speaking to your GP or pharmacist about antiviral medication, such as aciclovir, before your treatment. Preventative antivirals can help reduce the risk of an outbreak, although they can’t guarantee you won’t have one.

This is why your pre-care is just as important as your aftercare! ✨

My goal is always to achieve the best possible healed result, and that starts before we even pick up the machine.

Ombré lip blush, completely customised to her. 🤎

My client already had filler and didn’t want any more volume she simply wanted to bring colour and definition back into her lips.

We colour-matched her treatment to the tones she wears every day, including the brown liner she loves.

But there’s an important part of colour theory when it comes to PMU:

Straight brown pigment isn’t something I tattoo directly into the lips.

Brown liners can look gorgeous as makeup, but tattooing a straight brown into lip tissue can heal very differently. Instead, we created a custom colour that gives her that same deeper, brown-toned effect while using pigments suitable for the lips.

Lip blush will heal around 30–40% lighter and softer in the skin, so please don’t be put off by how intense ombré lips can look immediately after treatment.

You’ve probably seen ombré lips and thought…

“Is that actually what I want tattooed on my lips?” 👀💋

If you’re picturing dark, bold lips with a heavy outline, I completely get the hesitation.

But what you see immediately after lip blush is not your final result.

Freshly treated lips will look more intense and saturated, then soften as they heal. Your healed result can be around 40% softer/lighter, leaving a more diffused wash of colour with subtle definition around the lip.

Think: more colour, shape and definition without looking like you’re wearing heavy permanent lipstick.

And there’s no one-size-fits-all ombré. Your colour and technique should be tailored to your natural lip tone, skin, lip shape and the result you actually want.

So if your biggest fear is “what if they look too dark?” or “what if they look too obvious?” understanding the healing process is key. 🤍
