Dear Fine Arts,

Where do I even start. From the moment I stepped into the band room, to my audition for ensemble, to walking across the stage at national competition. A full circle moment has occurred. I want to thank a few people and take time to remember some great moments.

Mr. Lyles: the man that taught me everything I know about a saxophone. A one of a kind band teacher. Thank you for all of your effort that you put into the band and music at Franklin Road!

To Grayson: We did it buddy! We won 3 years in a row! We missed having you, but we’ve come so far because of your effort you’ve put into music.

Mr. Pearson: Nothing will ever be able to describe the care and effort you’ve put into me and those around me. I will truly never be able to thank you enough.

To my OG’s: After 4 years in ensemble, our time in fine arts has come to a close. From the moment we stepped into that audition room to now, we’ve developed so much! Thank you for being critical parts and leaders in ensemble these past few years.

Mallory: My little sister. I’ll never be able to express how thankful I am for you! Your leadership and commitment to fine arts have been made clear for several years. Being one of few middle schoolers that can say they are national fine arts winners is a special achievement. Keep it up Komisky!

Grandpa: You are such a special part of my life. From all the long hours talking about music, production, and instruments, I have learned so much from you. Thank you for being such an encouragement throughout my musical career.

Dad: The man behind the camera. You have put so much time and effort into wanting me to succeed, and I’ll never be truly able to thank you for it. I love you.

Mom: You are the reason I sing. Your love for music that you instilled in me at a young age can never be erased. I really can’t comprehend how much time and effort you’ve put into me, and I am so thankful for it. My constant rock, my musical sounding board, and the woman who loves me so much. Thank you for everything. I love you more than I can ever describe.

Thank you Fine Arts!

Sadly didnt place on my drum solo but I thought it was amazing to have even made Nationals for a solo as a Freshman.
So many memories were made and much more in the future. Thanks to anyone that helped me get this far. by @archerysmk

As this year comes to a close, I’m thanking God for everything He’s given me. I wake every day not understanding how good He’s been to me!
