The conversations didn't stop when the conference wrapped up 🥂 Some of the best connections happen when you get to sit back, enjoy a good meal and continue the conversation without watching the clock. Our Archicon VIP dinner brought together a smaller group for an evening of good food, great company and conversations that deserved a little more time. Behind every good event are the people who make it worth showing up for 💜 The ones who share an idea, ask a question, challenge a perspective, make an introduction or strike up a conversation with someone they've just met. This photo captures a little of what we hoped Archicon would be: a room full of people with different experiences, all bringing something to the conversation. We're still smiling about it! . #Archicon2026 #ArchitectureCommunity #ArchitectureBusiness by @archicon2026
Wondering what Archicon 2026 was all about? Here’s a little recap 🧡🎬 Two days in Melbourne. A room full of architects, firm owners, and industry leaders having honest conversations about business, AI, leadership, and the future of architecture. A huge thank you to our speakers, partners, volunteers, and everyone who made our inaugural Archicon unforgettable! And we’re just getting started. Want to hear about Archicon 2027? Stjepan Mikulić has spoken around the world about AI in the AEC industry, and we’re so grateful he made the trip Down Under for Archicon! Thank you, Stjepan, for sharing your knowledge and insights with our Archiconners. It means so much to Nikita and me that you were part of our inaugural event! 🧡 #Archicon2026 #AIforArchitects #FutureOfArchitecture by @archicon2026
Thank Tim Ross for a fantastic, thought-provoking and entertaining keynote. Our ‘archiconners’ absolutely loved it! by @archicon2026
Tomorrow, we stop talking about Archicon and actually get to be in it! You already know Nikita Morell @nikitamorell_ as one half of the duo behind Archicon. And on Day 2, she’ll be taking the stage for her workshop, Positioning to Win Work. Because doing great work is one thing. Making sure the right people understand why they should hire you is another. If you’re in Melbourne, come say hi. We’ve been waiting a long time for this one 💜 📍 W Hotel, Melbourne | 8–9 October 🎟️ Tickets are now $899 AUD. Tomorrow, Archicon finally gets underway. And on Day 2, Aya will be right in the middle of the conversations. You already know Aya Shlachter @aya_shlachter as one of the founders behind Archicon. But on Day 2, she’ll be stepping into the moderator’s seat for not one, but two panels: • Designed to Lead • Hard Lessons Lead To Better Firms Two conversations about the realities of building and leading an architecture practice, the decisions, challenges, mistakes and lessons that don't always make it into the business plan. And if there’s one thing we know about Aya, it’s that she’s not afraid to ask the questions that get people talking 👀 Archicon starts tomorrow! 📍 W Hotel, Melbourne | 8–9 October 🎟️ Tickets are now $899 AUD. We thought we'd start Archicon with a welcome speech. We changed our minds 😂 Nick White @nickwhite49 is kicking off Archicon with a comedy spot, because if we're calling ourselves The Unboring Architecture Conference, we might as well prove it from the very first minute. No long introductions. No corporate waffle. Just Nick, a microphone, and a room full of architects who are probably overdue for a laugh. Thursday. We’re starting differently! 📍 W Hotel, Melbourne | 8–9 October 🎟️ Tickets are now $899 AUD. What am I brining to ArchiCon I was asked. That’s the second thing @aya_shlachter and @nikitamorell_ asked me ahead of @archicon2026 I’m heading to Australia on Monday and I’m privileged to speak at @archicon26. I can wait to dive in and meet everyone. And then I’m off to New Zealand for a new project! by @archicon2026
3 DAYS TO GO. And we’ve reached the final stop on THE UNBORING 9: MELBOURNE, just in time for Archicon. 09 of 09 — Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre FUN FACT: MCEC became the world’s first convention centre to achieve a 6-Star Green Star rating when the Convention Centre opened in 2009. Its design also takes inspiration from Melbourne’s maritime history, with details reflecting the Yarra River and the flow of water towards Port Phillip Bay. And now, just three days later, we’ll be bringing our own ideas, conversations and unboring energy to Melbourne 🚀 October 8–9 | W Hotel, Melbourne, Aus Tickets: $899 AUD 👉 Book yours at archicon2026.com #Archicon2026 #TheUnboring9 #MelbourneEvents by @archicon2026
