Cragside Woodland Rummage! After walking through Cragside National trust woodland areas just a little off the path, I found a range of fungi and mushroom species 🍄 As an Aussie in the UK, my mushroom knowledge was fairly limited here so I just collected photos for the fun of it! Within about roughly 100m^2 of land I found a bunch of interesting little Mica Caps, Jelly Ear looking species and some other poisonous little guys! Some good photos though, didn’t have much time to keep on looking, and it was feeling cold so I was outta there in about 15 minutes! Excited to be back in Australian bush! 🇦🇺🍄 taken in Cragside National trust by @archie.p05

Bungwahl Bush Study! Staying with some mates at an AirBnB I found that the bush just outside the property was rich with Fungal life! 🍄❤️ Found over 14 different species, most of which inedible, but their beauty and role in Aboriginal culture as fire starters and medicines in such diversity was something I found incredibly interesting All these species were found within 2 hours of looking in just under 1km squared of uncharted, pathless bushland. I wish I stayed longer to find more! 🍄 These are some of my favourite photos from the hike! 🍄 Warning do not consume any wild mushrooms even if you're sure it's safe to eat. Look alikes and misidentification can kill, so be sure to look but not eat! taken in Bungwahl, New South Wales by @archie.p05
